We ordered the jhol chicken momo, lamb madras, pumpkin curry, and garlic naan. Complimentary papad came with great mint and tamarind chutneys. The jhol chicken momos were great. The filling was decent but the wrappers were impressive: thin, chewy yet not mushy, and clearly handmade from the slightly imperfect pleats. These dumplings were served in a flavorful, spicy, tangy broth that tied everything together beautifully. The lamb madras was loaded with tender meat in a bold, spicy, deeply flavorful gravy. The pumpkin curry was complex with layers of warm spices though a bit undersalted. The garlic naan was fantastic: super garlicky, lightly buttery, soft and chewy in some places, nicely charred and crisp in others. Service was attentive and efficient.
All around 10/10. Must go, seriously

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood! We ordered the thakali bhojan with lamb, johl momo, and garlic nan which was perfect for two. Everything is always balanced, well spiced, and never greasy. Thank you!
Great soup the chicken with lentils.

Honestly, DELICIOUS! We’ve been searching for a good paneer makani AND vegetarian Indian dishes since we moved from NYC. We just found our new, local favorite. The paneer makani and navaratna korma was so, so yum!

This restaurant absolutely delivers through its name, bringing the taste of the Himalayas to Chicago! Every single dish was so fresh and incredibly seasoned with awesome flavor. You must try their Thakali Set and MOMO - you will love it!

Great place, momo are very good. Street parking available outside.
Great place, definitely recommend!! We went as a family and the service and atmosphere was amazing! Jhol momo and Thakali sets were great, and they had amazing vegetarian options too. Mr. Adhikari and the team were extra welcoming, which made our experience extra special. Amazing place, definitely recommend!

Ok wow. We ordered pick up and the food was all still piping hot when I got home.
We ordered:
- chicken tikka masala
- butter chicken
- garlic naan
- roti
- veg samosa
Everything was top tier. The tikka masala and the veg samosa I would eat once a week. It’s so delicious and light but full of flavor.
Honestly nothing negative to say here, you won’t regret ordering!!!

Was craving for some Nepali daal bhat and tried their Thakali Bhojan chicken set. It was nothing less than phenomenal, the Nepali taste, flavors were there, and all the spices right on point. Should definitely try out this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Amazing!! Lovely restaurant. The service and food was aa excellent. It was so good, I forgot to take photos. However they were burning incense, fyi if you're sensitive to smells.
Went for a Saturday afternoon lunch and had the place to ourselves. Lovely food! Every Indian place should offer naan with paneer. Himalayan goat curry, aloo and chicken momo were delicious!

Really tender chicken, thank you! Worst Biriyani I've ever had, and the same for the Madras and Tikka--no genuine flavors, not a pea or carrot (or anything!) in the Biriyani. Is it all from a powder mix. I mean, cmon! I knew it was going to be bad even before trying it. What was this! $100. Never again, but thanks for trying. Time to visit Devon Avenue.

Went here after seeing good google reviews but was very disappointed.
The Paneer Tikka Masala looked bad and the sauce was watery instead of creamy. Never seen such panner tikka masala ever.
The Nepali Thakali Thali was another big letdown. If you don’t know what a proper Thakali set is supposed to be like, please don’t claim it on the menu. It was way too basic and poor quality for the high price they were charging.
Other appetizers weren’t good either. This place really needs a better cook.
