I was initially a bit skeptical about trying Nepalese food since I had never tasted it before, but a good friend encouraged me to give it a try — and I was pleasantly surprised. As a vegetarian, I focused only on the vegetarian dishes, and both the appetizers and entrées were excellent. The food was flavorful and can be customized to any spice level. The owner, Bhimji, was exceptionally pleasant, courteous, and helpful, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in Chicago.

It was so great on a gloomy Chicago afternoon (after missing a greyhound in the morning and cursing the Chicago traffic all along) that we thought about asking them if they also have a sleeping pod, after having that awesome goat curry dish (Manange Khasiko Masu). We felt really warm and sleepy, in a good way :)

One of the best Nepali restaurant I have ever eaten at outside Nepal. We drove all the way from Madison to Chicago and found this place by chance. Momos and Nepali thali was authentic and super delicious. Service too good. Mr.Bhim and his colleague really took care of us. This is a small restaurant with a big heart.
