I grew up a Filipino restaurant owner’s kid, and I’ll honestly say that this is the best Filipino restaurant I’ve tried in Chicago. The flavors taste just like home. It’s truly the ultimate comfort food. I’ll definitely be back every time I find myself missing home.
Nothing to look at from the outside. In fact, we've lived in the neighborhood (only a block away) for 6 months before we even noticed it was there. The Filipino side of the food was good. Great lumpia. Great fried pata. Really liked the chicharron buklaklak. Enjoyed the combination fried rice. We didn't have much on the Japanese side of the menu. The soba noodles were more like pancit rather than actual soba. If I have any criticism, it would be that I felt like everything...
