I’m from. Chicago moved to Atl when I come home I get all of my favorites! Went July 2nd 2025. They moved across the street after all these years! I had shrimp fried rice,Mongolian beef and chicken egg foo young! My food was fire…. Everything was fresh! My rice was sooooo good. The Mongolian beef was on point. Everything was cooked to perfection.

What's going on with Hoy Toy? Are they the same that was across street, same cooks? They've even changed the spelling of the name. It's been a minute since I've been, I'm scared to try them

Has been my family and I go to since inception. Back some years ago they went under new management and the culture of Hoe Toy changed. The old management including the front line order takers and cooks in the back, all knew the customers. Truthfully what made Hoe Toy special was that it was all community members. And on a Friday and Saturday night, the line would be out the door and you could smell delicious Chinese food all along Stony Island.
