Driving 25 miles just for a sandwich was absolutely worth it! The pictures do not do the hot steak sandwich with sauce and fries justice. Even with about 10 orders in front of me, I was in and out within 15 minutes. Street parking is available, and getting here is easy right off 1-57. Cash only.
I ordered the sweet steak sandwich and the wait wasn't too bad but honestly I wasn't a fan of the sandwich. The sandwich had this Italian seasoning taste to it which I wasn't a fan of for this particular sandwich but the sandwich was huge and looked like it would be really filling.
I live in Indianapolis now but every time I get to Chicago I try to go there the steak sandwich is one of a kind yes wait time can be long but well worth it but when you step in to order you realize that customers usually order 5 or more at a time me myself I generally get 6 steaks and 6 turkey hoagies which also is very good
