Great place. Went on a holiday and couldn’t really get in anywhere downtown. Found this West town gem and am so happy we did. The staff is amazing. The food was next level. The space is elegant and welcoming. I’ve never had Portuguese food before - and it was an absolute winner. Our waiter was Hector, and he made sure we only had the best dishes, drinks, and experience. I’d go again in a minute.
We chose to dine at this restaurant for the first time based upon the menu posted online, which listed a mostly Portuguese menu. Further, the restaurant is identified online as "Portuguese." We were disappointed to view the menu when we arrived, which does not have many of the items viewed online. The menu now states this is a "Latin" restaurant, and the server described the menu as Mexican with some Portuguese fusion. We felt misled by the information online...
Great place for Latino / Portuguese type of cuisine. Not a lot a places for Portuguese food around in Chixago the Prego no Prato (Portuguese steak sandwich) and the Charred Octopus was fantastic.
