A very underrated restaurant. I absolutely adore the friendly and attentive service both times that I visited here. The food is homestyle, not overly greasy or heavy like what you’d typically have at a Chinese restaurant. For my taste, the food has been consistently solid. One of the dishes that you can “test” the restaurant is Peking duck. Having had the dish before in Beijing, I can say that their rendition is excellent and authentic. Highly recommended.

We have been coming here for years, and we love this place. Hong Huah has by far the best potstickers anywhere--and we deliberately try them at other places to compare. The Mongolian Beef is a favorite, as is the Mu Shu, whether pork, chicken, or vegetarian. The staff members are usually in the kitchen, cooking--they get a lot of take-out orders--and so you won't always be welcomed at the door quickiy. Don't let the very plain surroundings fool you; the food is good and fresh. AFter trying a variety of places over the years, this family-owned spot is still our favorite.

Great neighborhood Chinese food which is a rarity nowadays. I ordered the orange chicken and pot stickers , both items came out fresh and really good. I can see why this spot has been in business sense the 80s. I'll definitely be back to try some other items and to get some more orange chicken. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was due to the hot oil which tasted old and stale with no flavor and the atmosphere could definitely use a modern upgrade, it def feels stuck in the 90s which I assume could be nostalgic for a lot of the regularsKid-friendliness: Enough room for kids and families, server was nice and refilled waters.Parking: Parking was good for me due to it being lunch hour but if it was the evening I'm sure the street parking would have been crowded.
