I ordered via Uber Eats. I received the wrong side with my order. I found the brisket to be rather bland and sauce options were ok. I’ve heard that the atmosphere is nice. Perhaps next time, I will try dining in. I wanted the deluxe platter initially but, the uber eats menu could use some customization to allow you to add sauce similar to the personal platter. It wasn’t clear if sauce was included or not. So, I opted for the lower priced item to ensure I got sauce.

Food service and place was great! Not to mention there was a great band playing, dancing etc. I will definitely go again!

Did anyone else smell something funky in there? It’s almost like a farm or something other than bbq. It was quite distracting AND concerning...like are they serving something else??? Also, the bbq was sub-par. It was cold upon arrival and had to send it back. Really disappointed ☹️

Their event manager double booked a band I was looking forward to see on Friday. They notified the band 5 days (Monday night) before the show after the band has already notified their fans, social media, and several friends were planning a birthday party for. Incredibly disappointed in this venue. If you’re here looking to watch a band OR if you’re planning on booking here, I’d reconsider.

I had the ribs and corn muffin. The ribs were so dry it was unrecognizable and inedible. Follows behind by the corn muffin. I don't know how they can serve this food. There is only burnt flavor and texture of jerky. Even the cashier couldn't recognize it. Sauce is okay.

In response, if your food is not edible don't sell it. Poor reflection on who you are and what you represent. Poor response from owner who cares about quality of her product and brand. Sorry you feel this way and hope you rethink your attitude.

I NEVER GIVE REVIEWS! Ever! Especially bad reviews. I think leaving bad reviews is tacky, and I would never do anything to take away from people's ability to earn a living and feed their familys. That being said, I heard mixed reviews about this place, so today, 6/6/25, I decided to try it for myself. I arrived around 11:25 am when they first opened. I live waaaaay on the citys south east side. I never learned to drive, I wanted this bbq so bad that I risked my life riding THE RED LINE, just to get downtown. I had to take the orange line to ashland, the ashland bus to 18th and ashland street. The bus wasnt coming so I walked to racine. The cashier was friendly. She was such a doll. The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable, THE FOOD WAS A 10/10! Forget whatever you think you know about southside bbq and give PILSEN A TRY. OMG! PILSEN IS STEPPIN ON NECKS, EATING AND LEAVING NO CRUNBS! The TONK DESERVES A SHOUT OUT. I ordered the rib tips and 2 hot links. NO LIE, THE RIB TIPS AND LINKS WERE SO GOOD I FORGOT TO PUT THE SAUCE ON THEM.The cashier suggested that I give all three sauces a try. I did. The sauses were the BOMB especially that mustard sauce. Yummy! The tips were chopped big just like I like them, they were tender, and SEASONED TO THE BONE! The hot links were spicy but not too hot. OMG! I would encourage anyone who wants good ole fashion BBQ, no frills, no fuss, to EAT AT THE TONK! I will be back! The ride on the red line was worth it!

We randomly popped in here on a Sunday afternoon after shopping at nearby thrift stores and were pleasantly surprised by the chill vibes, great live music and tasty eats. I liked this lil spot!

Went there for first time today because I saw they have gluten free options and loved it. Everything was so good and the waitress Sadie was super friendly and kind to my daughters. Definitely going back again!
