I visited Hook on Fish this week and was helped by Mark. I tried the artic char and trout. I am venturing out of the same ole fish and this shop is just the spot for that! I’m happy and I will be back. Mark was very helpful with giving cooking advice and fish suggestions.
Fresh and beautiful fish--amazingly helpful staff. Small selection of carefully curated non-seafood products. Weekly subscription is a great encouragement to cook fish at home--it is easy to "skip" a week or choose an alternate selection. There are recipes on the webpage--and the frozen store made items are a tasty treat.
Adorable neighborhood fishmonger that offers a wide range of fresh fish brought in from places and house made products. Last time I went i got their Ahi Tuna brought from Hawaii that was sushi grade and it made for some delicious poke. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, I was really happy with the service. They put out weekly newsletters so it’s easy to keep up what they have fresh in. Plus they have a great selection of tinned fish ! all around a market id recommend.
