Today, Sept 18, 2025, at the 8225 W Higgins Rd, Chicago, IL location. Was seated by staff, then after waiting 15 minutes with no one serving me, I left. Awful service at this location. Never be back. If there was a negative star, that location would get it. Told them on the way out. Instead of trying to save me as a customer, they just let me walk out. Pitiful.

The entire staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful! They were incredibly rude from the moment I walked in the door. No water was given to my table and the atmosphere was just hostile very weird experience!

Food was ok. The fries were terrible. They were stale, and chewy. I ordered takeout for lunch, and I hope they didn't recycle their uneaten fries from the night before. It wasn't freshly fried that's for sure.

was greeted and complimented as i walked in by the very nice waitress. We got sat at a corner table with a crazy draft, we asked to be moved and the waitress moved us to a booth where there was also a draft. But it seemed like the vents were just everywhere in the restaurant, so a tad bit cold for my liking. Drinks were good, the tequila was nice and smooth. Hooters original HOT wings are chefs 😘 the sauce, the breading, just perfect.

I think this might finally be the last straw of going here. 20 minutes sat at table was seated at multiple waitresses passed by said nothing never even looked our way. Someone seated after us served. No choice just left. This isn’t the first time but yeah it’s the last for me. Asked hostess who are waitress was given name and magically no idea where she was. Done.
Review: I had a great experience at this Hooters! The service was tremendous—friendly and attentive from start to finish. The food was excellent too; it seems they went back to the original recipes, and it really shows. The only downside was the decor, which felt a bit unfinished and took away slightly from the overall vibe. Despite that, this is a great spot to stop by for good food and quality service, especially if you want to spend time with family. Highly recommend!
