This has been our go to for many years. I know that they recently transitioned to new management and I’m not sure if it was a fluke but our takeout yesterday was not the quality that we’re used to. The sushi was just ok and the Pad Thai was flavorless. I couldn’t even finish it. It just tasted off. I truly hope that the new owners work to keep up what made this chain so special to begin with.

High quality, fresh, food at a great price, can't go wrong with sushi. Thai food here is also good.
The food is decent but I requested no baby corn. There's clearly baby corn in my order.
So rare to find a restaurant these days that's delicious, friendly, satisfying, and reasonably priced (by 2025 standards 😉). We were looking for a restaurant halfway between Grandma and us, and were lucky to find them. Best sushi and teriyaki I've had in a long time! Will definitely be back.

Consistently good. Good price for a nice feast. I am editing my post to include a new frustration. Nothing has changed however .. many moons ago I guess . HWCS served one of my favorite dishes which is Tom Kha. Unfortunately we order from elsewhere since thissoup is not available
We have eaten here several times and Hot Woks has become one of our favorite local spots. We have tried many of their dishes and always end up craving their Thai noodle dishes (each one is delicious).

Thai modern Microchain in Chicago. This particular location is creatively settled next to the raging Kennedy Expressway. No way this property works with most small businesses but these kids made it happen campy cozy and cool. Super great food , very reasonable prices. Expansive menu, servers always pleasant. A God during the year of the Snake.

I ordered a dragon roll & in the roll itself was just the shrimp tempura.. no cucumber.. I thought it was super plain and the eel on top had a gritty texture. A pre made dragon roll @ Whole Foods tasted way better and cheaper..
the service was fine. They kept asking if we were ready for the check. Wouldn’t come back for authentic & fresh sushi.

Delicious thai love the place
Had to change my 5 star review to 1 star
For over a year we are ordering same sushi every Friday it was our favorite place....lately like last 3-4 orders the salmon sushi looks like they are making them with left overs there is no salmon but just the fat from it.....that is unacceptable....i understand the inflation but we are not paying for leftovers!!!!!!
Next time if i receive them like this...will bring them back myself!!!

The seaweed was too chewy. Rice vinegar was too vinegary.
