I went there because they had chicken wings with Koval bourbon sauce. They was just as delicious as I mentioned. Crisp sweet and the bourbon taste. Broccolini was excellent also.

There's a new Sunday buffet at the HotHouse in the Doubletree Hotel, Streeterville.
Typical hotel brunch menu items with bottomless mimosa. š¾
I especially like all the ingredients on the buffet to build my own charcuterie plate. A capress salad, salmon, roasted asparagus, tomatoes and red peppers, coppa, salami, pepperoni, cheeses, almonds, and many sliced vegatables.
Tradition slicing station, delicious lemon salmon, eggs 3 ways, breakfast meats, breads and pastries, parfaits, fresh berries and yogurt.
My fav was the mutli-grain croissant. Crispy outside with the crunch of seeds on top.
And all of this for only $45!!!
Compare this to othet food costs it's a real bargain. (I paid $30 for counter ordered grilled Portugese chicken, then sat elbow to elbow for a cheeseburger and craft beer at an nearby tavern for $40. Famous Gourmet popcorn was $12.
HotHouse needs to fire the dj. š Sunday brunch should not be Saturday evening pre-dance music. I dont plan to go out to the clubs after my Sunday meal. How about some jazz, Chicago blues or maybe Sunday Gospel or light classical?
And for all the Bears fans they have the game on multiple screens.
Sundays 11:00 - 2:00. Worth checking out whether window browsing on Michigan Ave or headed to the Navy pier for an event.

Amazing meal. Started with the bartender who greeted us and made some great Long Islands. We stayed at this hotel (Doubletree) and stopped at the bar to really decide where we were going to eat. Walking into the restaurant we saw some great dishes and after experiencing the service decided to stay for dinner. We had the bone in pork chop and the Caesar salad. Both were fantastic. Service was great. All the staff seemed to help each other and were smiling etc. Great experience. We even met one of the managers Billy who took time to help his people when they got busy. Seemed like a good leader and the staff seemed eager to help each other also. Thanks for a great night.

After a few nights in town for a conference, I found myself at the hotel bar on the last night. Glad I did. The food and drink was just fine, and the pleasant hospitality - in the form of Gustavo the barman and a few other patrons - was a nice conclusion to my trip.

The gentlemen that work at this hotel restaurant/bar are superb! Extremely kind and full of hospitality from the heart. Food is great as well. Iād recommend eating here even if youāre not staying the night at the hotel. Someone give them a pay raise. God bless them and their work!

Service was a little slow, but it was clear that they were understaffed for the crowd at that time. That being said, Gustavo was making the rounds and taking care of people as quickly as he could; he provided excellent service in addition to making a couple good recommendations for places to go afterwards. Neither the food nor drinks appeared to be anything special on the menu, but from the fish to the cocktails, everything tasted great!
Nicely done, Hothouse.

As a university student restaurant worker myself, Iām very understanding of workers and if they are having a bad day. That being said, me writing this review means A LOT.
First night I stayed in, My sister and I got the breakfast package from the hotel. When we got to the breakfast bar, we specifically told them we had the breakfast package! When we finished our meal, we had to pay for the whole $75 when WE ALR PAID FOR OUR MEAL. Now, I def tipped and didnāt mind paying for the tip, but they charged my card again. Just because we r teenagers, doesnāt mean yāall get to ignore us and SCAM us for more money.
Second day, my family (this time w my parents) and I walk in. We asked for coffee, but just for me, my mom, and my dad. Not for sister. The server proceeds to take my coffee cup. THEN I ASKED FIVE TIMES, āCould I pls have my cup back because I want coffeeā. He proceeds to ignore me THEN leaves. My sister says āwait!!ā When heās leaving and he proceeds to leave. Then I cried because like I felt like I was being treated less than a human.
Not disregarding the restaurants value, but this was my experience!

It's not just another hotel bar. Neighborhood locals are regular customers. The food is very well thought out and made fresh. The bartender, Jose, has been there for many years and is amazing at what he does. He makes everyone feel like a regular.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is very spacious and easily maneuverable. The bar actually has an area to pull up for people in wheelchairs or mobility scooters etc.
