I went to the Poppy show last night and was shocked by how many people were crammed into the space. It was actually dangerous. For the cost of entry, this was outrageous. Poppy's sound quality was fantastic, I will note that, she was great. I'll never return to this venue, there should have been half the number of people in there - someone will end up getting crushed eventually - Poppy had to get the crowd to move back several times as those in the front were literally in danger.

Great place to go with family or friends, good food, very friendly servers (Osyris was great and speaks Spanish). Go with time to enjoy the live music and ambiance.

I was there in December 2019 and it was a great experience. Delicious food and great atmosphere. On that day, there wasn't any live music, though..Anyway, I'd love to go back again!!

Well, with a prime location and a catchy name "House of Blues" , one would expect a good experience. Even though we had reserved in advance, we were given seats where you couldn't see the stage. The person performing may be a good person, but tired with average skills, amounted to jarring performance.
we were expecting a reasonable quality of food. We do not care about the price. Though it was not cheap, the food quality was worse that a rural bar serving pre cooked food in their $2 menu.
Hope they listen and improve quality. Their front desk person who is expected to be welcome people did everything to make us uncomfortable by seating at worst booth even when the whole time better booths were open. He needs to be fired if there any modicum of business like dealing.
In sum, the location and name are good, everything else is wrong. If you are traveling from outside Chicago, look elsewhere. Just skip.

And also unsurprisingly the bathrooms really reek of urine all the time.

The coat check line took longer than Machine Girl was on stage.

Super cool venue. Came for infected mushroom. Parking is valet only. Online it showed all levels as GA but had the balconies roped off for VIP. Spent about $50 between 2 of us on 2 drinks and a water. I would go back.

Very nice experience with good music and a warm and very pleasant bar atmosphere. The glasses are nevertheless excessively expensive

Too many private events.

No food, there for a concert. I will say, the staff is absolutely phenomenal. My friend had surgery and had a brace on his knee. While we were walking to get in line to get into the show, a worker stopped us and escorted us to the elevator. He took time out to notice someone limping a bit and catered to that. Then they gave my friend a seat because of his knee. The staff went above and beyond their line of duty to accommodate my friend. I cannot thank them all enough. You're hiring the right people, for sure.

Nice place for some live music, but other clients mostly chat with each other, so the ambience is not really focused on music. Food was ok and servers very friendly. If the concert hall has an event, its sound will boom through the walls and into the restaurant.
