They refused to charge us cash. It's unacceptable that a traveler who has exchanged money into dollars can't use them in a restaurant. It's legal currency and should be accepted, even more so when it's not disclosed when making the reservation.

Great atmosphere and vibe. The live music was a nice touch—the musician performed wonderfully while I enjoyed my meal and drink. I ordered the BBQ ribs, which came with fries, coleslaw, and pickles on the side. Unfortunately, while eating, I bit into something that turned out to be a piece of plastic. I immediately brought it to the attention of the waiter, who informed the manager. A few minutes later, the manager came over to apologize and explained that the plastic likely came from the wrapping used to cover the pickles in their container. I appreciated the manager's prompt response and apology. However, offering a small gesture—like a discount or complimentary dessert—would have helped make up for the unpleasant experience.

We had a great time. Good food, very ample portions, great live Blues performance. Staff were all kind and accommodating. Would go again in a heartbeat.

House of Blues, for a night out, was fantastic. From the time I was seated, until leaving 4 sets later, server was attentive, friendly. Food, prepared and served, as requested, was perfect. Blues, got the house involved was wonderful. My plan is to make this a go-to!!

Had dinner before the main venue opened, the food and service was good. I think I would skip dinner the next time around and just hang out for cocktails until showtime.

Love the atmosphere, very talented musician playing, food was great, server was pleasant and advised us about the fast pass for getting into the concert quicker. Great time!

A very well appointed devote, authentic feeling blues restaurant with live music stage. Our server was wonderful - sense of humor and informative. Ribs were delicious with nice smoked flavor and bread pudding was tasty with lots of caramel sauce.

40 minutes from sitting down u tip I got a drink in my hand , had to go and recheck twice we weren't forgotten had 10 clients with me from UK - dreadful service ( understaffed hugely ) noisy tired half empty poor atmosphere great band but that's it also the wine is just rubbish

Very little energy the night we went there Singer was alone, not a performer + we have eared the same songs multiple times. Food is good but we came for the music and were disappointed not to have a show.

We had a meal that was too spicy, no mention of this on the menu. I also had chips and was extremely surprised that having Cajun stole added 2 dollars. I find it unacceptable that these information were not given when we ordered. This was our first time at HoB coming from Europe I am not sure we will come back. Best regards Lars

Good food, i like the nachos and the salads. The service is great! The most important thing is the atmosphere withe live music. It just fits altogether!! 😀

Good Experience. Probably wouldn't go back when visiting Chicago. Customer Service plated a big part of my decision. Not very welcoming or accommodating for big parties. Food was good. Drinks were a waste of money. Customer Service could have been better.
