Huaraches are huge and not bad, I thought the beans layer in it was a little dry. We had asada and al pastor as toppings, I found pastor to be way too sweet, and asada was just medium. I gotta admit for the price it’s a ginormous meal that will fill you up for sure. They have about 5 tables inside, it has that family run restaurant vibe which was nice but the air inside the restaurant smelled like frying oil very strongly and after dining in there our clothes and hair smelled like that which wasn’t pleasant.
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian toppings for huaraches, quesadillas etc. They can also make it vegan with no problem.

The food is delicious, big portions, polite service BUT I've come here multiple times google says it opens at 11 most restaurants they are ready to start taking order at the time it says it's open. Here I've waited till 11:30 for them to stroll in and get the fire going and then start taking taking orders. Although it doesn't take very long once they start taking orders, it's really inconvenient to make people wait when your sign says your open at 11 and you end up opening 30-40 min after in my opinion that says you don't care about your business.

The handmade to order tortillas are so good. Al pastor about the best I've had. Love this little hidden gem.

Very badly !! Traveling so many miles to be told it is closed just because of the owner's lack of attention and not updating their information on the website!!

The food was good but the service was horrible and also they do not receive 100 bills as if they were going to give you a fake one

Tiny place, great food. Feels like you were invited into someone's home for a very solid meal.

Unknowingly arrived right before close. Everyone was still super nice and helpful. Tacos al pastor were huge and absolutely amazing. Favorite Mexican in Chicago to date.
