I stopped eating the steak here because it tastes like something my dog wouldn’t eat. I tried the pastor and enjoyed it from time to time. I just ordered tacos and asks for lime slices and she passes me an entire lime. I asked if you she can cut the lime and she refused. Never coming back, and they won’t last long. Trust me!

Came for the fried ice cream and it was not fried. The plastic wrap was also still on it…plated and covered in whipped cream. I’ve had it before and it was better but this was worth a warning review because that was so gross 😭😭

Food was decent. I ordered a 4oz queso and literally got a cup of cold shredded cheese. Never seen anything like that from a Mexican joint before haha.

The first time going here was a very bad experience getting served raw meat chicken and the steak in burritos and sour veggies and old stale beans made me sick I had to stop eating the food.

It was a nice place but the food is what you would expect to be good. But IT WAS HORRIBLE. The nachos I was expecting a little bit more for presentation and taste , the nachos were very disappointing they reminded me of school nachos with the taste. The torta was again bland no flavor or anything to the torta . The Burrito was also bland as well so overall the food was bland they could have added more flavor . The wait time for long especially since it was only us in there I thought we would have have the nachos out first but we waiting a long time .

Ate here numerous times over the three years while I lived in Hyde Park. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Their quesadillas, and carne asada dinner are my favorites. Try the pastor and chorizo as well.

Pickup was quick and the guy at the counter was professional.

The fries are delicious. Fries are fried well. No salt which I appreciate bc I like to add my own amount of salt.

The Gorditas were okay. I got the chicken one and a Piccadillo (ground beef) one. I thought the chicken would have like a tinga

Customer service was bad we ordered the hibiscus juice did not taste good the waiter did not offer any other option also never came over and check on us also no manners taco was dry if you want food and are hungry go here if you want great customer service don’t go here

First time at Huaraches, I ordered a pastor burrito. Very good, pastor was so good. Had an horchata and loved it. Not overly sweet but just right. Salsa 10/10 not too spicy with a good taste to it. Love the open atmosphere, the waiter was friendly and very attentive. Not too busy for a Saturday night. Found plenty of parking. Definitely coming back soon.

This place deserves more stars. We just tried it because it was near the science museum and it blew us away. I tried a Huitlacoche quesadilla and the huitlacoche had a delicate, nutty and sweet flavor which paired well with the thick crispy corn tortilla it was inside. My dad had the al pastor huarache and it was equally delicious. The cantaloupe Agha Fresca was refreshing without being too sweet.

Huaraches catered an event with 60 people for us and they were great to work with and everyone really enjoyed the food.

Ordered chicken fajitas, which was good in taste but sour cream was missing. The prices and portions for the meals menu are a bit inconsistent.
Served us complimentary chips and salsa.
Downside was that they charged a 18% gratuity for a group of 4.
