One of the best happy hours in Chicago. Great fresh clams & oysters for a good deal. Also you can't beat a $5 Manhattan from 4-7pm. Definitely drunk after 3 drinks.
Always a great time at Hubbard Inn.
Great spot for lunch, dinner and brunch. The menu here changes based on the season so this spot is worth a try no matter the outside weather. The soups during the winter months are delicious and so are the drinks. The main entrées are super tasty and if you are splitting a dish like I always do with my girl they will split the food in the kitchen and bring it out on two separate plates. The staff is always super friendly. The restaurant is not very busy during lunch therefore we never had a problem getting a table right away but the same is not the case for dinner or brunch.
Bought $75 ticjetrts for bar crawl, was at legitimately the front of the line...cord pulled across us waiting to enter the building. At 11:53 am. When our tickets ended at 12:00 pm. We were told that the time was up and we could pay $75 to get in through the other door. They then closed off the entrance to us and our only option was to walk in the street. When we pulled up our email to ask about the time frame of our passes, they told us to talk to the vendor and walk away. I would rate 0/5 if I had the option.
Great atmosphere, cool decor. Delicious cocktails, good beer selection. Plenty crowded, in a good way. Fun music. Definitely would go back again.
Mostly everything made from scratch down to the ketchup. Even their pancakes remind me of my mother's homemade buttermilk pancakes. You will not be disappointed at alllllll!!!!!!
Cool bar. Went during the Harry Potter pop up and it was very crowded. Expensive drinks and crowded bar. However the decor was pretty cool.
Cute place... nice atmosphere. Wait staff was literally amazing even with a hug event going on upstairs. Will be back. Love this place
Excellent smoked chicken chili and grilled cheese blt, excellent service and atmosphere also! We will be back.
Just celebrated my mom's birthday with a fabulous brunch. Everything from the service to the food was AMAZING! The breakfast flatbread, French toast, blueberry pancakes AND bottomless mimosas...made brunch that much better. Can't wait to go back!

I was hired as talent at one of the bar's themed nights. The place was packed and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It took nearly 90 days for my agent to be paid for the job. Staff was very rude to each other while I was working and rude to my agent when they made inquiries about payment for my acting services. Had to send collections agency and was forced to personally go to the bar to get our check. Very poor customer service. A myriad of party girls were invited up to our dressing area during our breaks where we were supposed to have privacy.
While the ambiance of this restaurant is great, I can't say the same about the service. My friends and I made reservations for brunch and, despite the place being empty, our food took almost an entire hour to come out. Honestly, we were okay with the wait since we had company, however the worst part of the experience was the waiter randomly added $12 to the subtotal on our bill. Unfortunately, we were unable to split the bill at the restaurant so I offered to pay with my card and split it later. Even though I checked the bill, I didn't whip out a calculator to make sure every line item adds up to the subtotal until later when I was actually splitting the bill among my friends When I called to correct the issue, I was promised an email that would sort out the issue and refund my $12 (along with the adjusted tax and gratuity amounts). No such email was sent. I tried emailing them to resolve the issue a week later and no response. Now, every time I call I'm put on hold for 10+ min and then the phone hangs up automatically. I'm very upset with this experience. Honestly, not even a matter of the $12, more that they cheated me and now don't want to correct the issue. Will never be dining at Hubbard Inn again.
Very disappointed!! Went with my sister. The restaurant was pretty empty it was about 12:15 pm on a Wednesday. I ordered the lobster roll, my sister ordered the turkey burger, and we ordered the lobster bisque to share. We asked if we could get the soup right away as we were very hungry. 30 minutes later my lobster roll is delivered by the bus boy. We waited a few minutes...nothing...no soup no sandwich for my sister so we split the lobster roll, which I have to say was pretty good. 25 minutes later here comes my sister's turkey burger and the soup. No explanation from the waiter. We asked why we couldn't get the soup quicker he gave some lame excuse but no apology. The bus boy later came to check on us, we told him our issues and I saw him tell the waiter. The waited never addressed any issues then took 15 minutes to bring the check. Needless to say we only tipped the bus boy.
Very expensive for what is offered. A good place to have a drink. Food is barely average despite the fancy menu layout. I ordered the kale salad with salmon. Fish was overly salty which is indicative of a frozen product which stayed too long in a freezer. Will never go back.
All cocktails.. even a basic old fashioned with extra bitters
