Went here for a Mother's Day brunch. Their bottomless mimosas were $35 a person and those were about the only good thing. There Mother's Day brunch was terrible. They had literally 5 options of food. The food was not fresh and it was put out for everyone to service themselves. Also, there was no vegan or gluten free options for other people. All they had was waffles, chicken, Mac and cheese, omelets and fruit. This was $65 a person. The quality of the food was not worth this much money. The ambiance was nice though. Our waiter was not very attentive, she literally did not explain or ask if we've been there before or check on us much. I've been to better places like 80 proof and high line that had way more food, better music for cheaper price. There was also no celebration of the mothers or anything special for them or any decorations in the restaurant. Overall 0/10 experience. Maybe would be better for a regular day outing .

Was very excited to try out this restaurant, but was disappointed at the quality of the food for the price. Paid $200 for two brunch buffets and one bottomless mimosa. The bottomless mimosas were good, but the food was definitely disappointing. We were most excited for the lobster mac and the chicken and waffles, but the lobster mac just tasted like velveeta and the waffles were soggy. The fruit and desserts were good. The waitress and ambience was nice, but not worth the price.

I recently attended a Desi Darty event at Hubbard Inn and it was a blast! Hubbard inn has 3 levels, and each level has some fun events going on almost every time. The check-in process was smooth for our level, however I did notice that there was a huge queue for the event taking place on second level but everything was very easy and quick! There's a lot of space to accommodate huge crowds. They have a water jar right next to the bar along with cups which I felt was nice to avoid standing in long queues to just get a cup of water at times. Drinks, slightly on the expensive side and a bit watered down. Overall, good place and I'll visit again if there are good events hosted here!

Went after an event. It took them longer than anticipated to flip the space so we weren't seated on time. The staff were curt and unfriendly. The food was mediocre. They charge an automatic 4% service charge PLUS a 20% gratuity. There is no signage about this. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend.

I was so disappointed with the martini tasting experience that we decided to eat elsewhere. We did support the food sales during the event but decided not to eat a true dinner. Will not be back.

I went for my bday with 5 other friends! The staff was so accommodating and warm! I will be back soon! The security guards were rude when we were leaving but everything else was great!

I am a blogger from Houston, Tx and I came for their Sunday Brunch on 4/14 as it was recommended by a local friend. This place was by far the worst customer service experienced here in Chicago. I came in at 1pm and requested a table for 2. She asked if I had reservations. After I said I didn't she indicated she didn't have any tables other than the bar or lounge sitting. However, there were 10 UNOCCUPIED high tops I was looking at in front of me. I asked her about the high tops and she said no those are actually reserved. I felt she wanted to give us any excuse possible to turn us away. Especially since she didn't even give us an option to wait for a table. I excused myself for a minute and I made a reservation on Open Table for 1:15pm. I came back up to her and told her I have reservations. What do you know she sat us down. The "reserved" high tops she mentioned previously remained unoccupied for the entire time we ate. I observed this hostess and she stood at the front with such a RBF like she just hates people. At any restaurant, your hostess is the first person your patrons interact with. She does not belong in this position. I hope you know she is deterring customers. The service wasn't much better from there, as it took 20mins for a waitress to come greet us. I wouldn't consider it particularly busy either. This restaurant has so much potential considering the art decor, food was great, and aesthetic. I really hope management focuses on the service aspect.

This was my first time dining at HI and I had a great time. The food was good, drinks were good (although they could have been a little stronger), and the service (our waitress - Sandra - and the bus boys) was top tier. Sandra was super attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly which really made for a great experience. I'll definitely be returning....soon!

Had the best dinner at Hubbard Inn. This Happy Hour Menu is more than generous . Portions are generous. A genial and easy-going atmosphere pervades. Ellen was our server and was attentive throughout our stay. Andre , the manager was spot on highlighting his staff and restaurant amenities. Definitely will be returning for easy going , hassle free dining in River North.

Hubbard Inn, while I haven't personally stayed there, sure does seem like a business that knows how to stay classy! will check out next time in Chicago

Booked for a booth table and they couldn’t give us the table. The two receptionist ladies were horrible and poor welcoming service. They were rude. The manager couldn’t even compromise and offer a better explanation. Worse place ever they treat people of color differently horrible. Thanks to their friendly bartender she was of good service
