Tried this place. Ordered chicken shawarma takeout and cracked it open 3 minutes later. Nothing was fresh. Food was cold. Rice was stale. Tasted like it was cooked several hours ago. The tabouleh seemed fresh but dry. The hummus was good, but they didn't give nearly enough for a platter.Asked about the 15% discount posted on their website and they said they didn't know anything about it.After microwaving it a bit, it tasted okay, but it dried out the shawarma.Overall, very disappointed. Would not get it again with all the other much better options in West Town

The person who took my order spoke Arabic better than me but acted like they do not speaks it at all !! I don’t like that to me is ridiculous Bathroom is out of service!! Extremely slow service for a shawarma wrap it took 25 minutes and it’s tasteless bread for the wrap old and cold and the sandwich has nothing to do with shawarma! I don’t recommend this restaurant

I stopped here to pick up some food while staying in Ukrainian Village for the week. There are plenty of options, but given the reviews I decided to try it. The place is clean and the person taking my order was pleasant. Service was pretty quick. However, I was pretty disappointed with the beef shawarma plate. The beef was like dried out strips of jerky or something, and did not have a good flavor. The tabbouleh, on the other hand, was fresh tasting and good. Would I go back, maybe, but I defiantly will not have the beef shawarma again.

Ok maybe I've been spoiled by other known Mediterranean restaurants such as Shawarma Inn and Pita inn but my experience @ the Hummus grill wasn't to my liking. I ordered chicken shawarma plate, I actually wanted a combination plate with shawarma and kefta kebab but they refused to sell it to me saying that it wasn't in the register so i had to order it separately. It's on the register at other places, anyways the shawarma was actually dry. The kefta kabob was actually the best ? very moist and juicy. Food is served on a throw away plate with plastic utensils. I personally wouldn't eat here again. There are better options.
I just think it’s over priced. About $5 too much. I ordered the house mix. Very good taste and all but to pricey. I would order more often but again to over priced.

Everything here is delicious! I’ve had a lot of the fast casual Mediterranean spots in the area and hummus grill is exceptional. The gyro and the lentil soup are my go to but can’t go wrong with anything!
