staff are not very friendly, I typically don’t have to pay cover as a PERFORMER but the bouncers still charged me

Another one falling from being a safe LGBT space. Straight girl causing problems with the entire bar, my boyfriend and I confront her for taking pictures of us. The save-a-ho managers walked us out the back door while the white lady stayed inside. The managers cared more about white knighting than they did listening to the sober person trying to explain what happened.

If you collect cards for tabs, which no one does anymore, you should not lose the cards. Went there for a special event and was ushered out of the back bar where the meet and greet happened. Never got my card back. Went to collect it today, and they “can’t find it.” It’s caused me a lot of hardship.

I went here with my friends, but due to one of them being sick, we decided it was best not to go in and just go home instead. The rest of our group still wanted to go and after they went in I realized that our roommate had the keys to the apartment. I explained this to the doorman and he refused to let me in without paying the $10 cover. I offered to let him hold my phone, wallet, $10 etc. but he would not budge. My friend was not answering the phone because they were already on the dance floor. So, we had to wait outside in the cold rain until they eventually did answer and bring the keys to the front all while I could hear the doorman talking to others about how I was just trying to get in without paying cover. I have never experienced such rudeness in my life and I will tell anyone who listens about this awful experience.

I paid $20 for a Cosmo that made me shiver — not from delight, but from what I can only describe as citrus-flavored emotional damage.
Every sip left me making the kind of face you only see in bad breakup texts. I genuinely could have mixed something better at home with grocery store vodka and a dream.
I usually love this bar’s vibe, but if I have to prep my nervous system like I’m taking a shot of bleach before every cocktail? That’s not it.
Bring back my favorite bartender Alex. If they were behind the bar, I’d happily stay for multiple rounds. Instead, this drink chased me out — and took two more sales with it.
TL;DR: I came for a cocktail. I left with trauma.
Not returning until Alex is pouring again.

So, I was unfairly kicked out of this bar and denied re-entry, even after the person who accused me admitted I wasn’t the one responsible. That’s not just embarrassing, it’s unjust. Under both the Illinois Human Rights Act and the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance, public establishments like bars and clubs are required to give everyone full and equal enjoyment of their services. They cannot arbitrarily deny someone entry or treat them differently because of who they are.
Once it was clear I hadn’t done anything wrong, security should have corrected the mistake. Instead, they doubled down and refused to let me in. That raises real questions about whether the decision was fair or influenced by bias. Either way, it left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
For that reason, I cannot recommend this bar to anyone, even though I work on the same strip. We all deserve to be treated with fairness and respect, and what happened to me was the opposite.
Very Good

Love partying here
Nice crowd. They severed me a very hot bottled bud beer and didn’t want to change to a proper one. Avoid buying alcohol
