I'm annoyed and upset by what happened to me recently. I expected the turkey tips I purchased for my family's Thanksgiving dinner to be tasty and well-prepared for the more than $100 I paid. Regretfully, it was not at all what I got.
The turkey tips were really dry, overdone, and just not that good. It was clear that the preparation was not done with much care. This meal was a total disappointment, even though it was meant to be a special one to share with my family.
I anticipated much more quality and attention to detail for the money I spent. It was intended to be a component of a holiday celebration, not simply a meal, yet this dish fell short in all respects. No one should have to go through this kind of disappointment, particularly over the holidays, so I hope the restaurant takes my comment seriously. Unless significant adjustments are done, I won't be going back and I don't suggest this place.
Came way from Indiana.. bought 2 buckets.. nothing but bones.. VERY disappointed! Good service, decent “order out” space.. fast service but you all need a higher quality of meat. I spent $67.00 on basically a slab of ribs. I really hate to leave a bad review on a black owned business but it is what it is.. Taste was good, sauce was good.. my only complaint was all the bones.. I came for some meat. If it takes raising the price a bit then I’m willing to pay.. just don’t give me whatever is in the budget.

I ordered a wing and tip combo. It was the worst I have ever had. The ribs were boiled and not grilled at all. I gave it to my dogs. The wings were good. I wouldn't recommend the barbecue.

Don’t Waste Your Money here so I ate hear and I57 before I moved to Texas I talked about the smoke house like it was the bomb i told them that I was bringing some ribs tips(unheard in the south) from Chicago so I bought a bucket and a large tip back so I had some friends over for some CHICAGO Ribs and I got a bucket full of bones and scraps pieces of meat that was hard and burnt with a little bit of sauce I was horrified and embarrassed all at the same time I really wish I could receive a refund I couldn’t bring them back cus I’m in Texas!!!! Is there a way that I can talk to or email the owner or the manager because I spent 56 dollars on bones with sauce this is not how I remember the i57 family 😔

Why is it that our order is missing items?? This has happened for the second time. Why is it that if you order from the Smokehouse, you get food from the Rib house??? The food is actually, noticeably different. We try so hard to support black owned businesses... Please try harder to get it right It's fries and meat for God's sake 🙄
