This is not to be confused with I57 RIB HOUSE(red bldg). I'm unsure if they are owned by the same people. The gentleman who took my order over the phone was very courteous as he was in person. I had the turkey tip/link combo with mixed sauce. The link was nice and spicy. The sauce was spread evenly over all the food. The turkey tips were amazingly meaty and good flavor.
This is exactly what I look for in proper local bbq! I just snuck in the last order of the night at 8:45. Got a tip and link combo. This is how I judge a place on first impression. And they did not disappoint! Rib tip with nice smoke and bark. The hot links may be the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a few on the south side. I got the mix of mild and spicy sauce. THE LAST TIME I VISITED I WAS NOT PLEASED. TODAY, SAME THING. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I AM EATING CRUNCHY FOOD. YES, CRUNCHY. MY HOT LINKS WERE HARD AND DRY. MY FRIES SEEMED OLD AND SO DID MY LINKS. I DON'T KNOW, I JUST DON'T KNOW.
