The quality of the food does not justify the cost. The fried chicken either karage or chicken katsu were both so hard and dry. The sashimi was definitely not cured. The skewers were spongie and doesnt appear to be thoroughly grilled. I would not recommend.
Outstanding, authentic Japanese cuisine served in a friendly, professional manner in a low-key, but attractive atmosphere. We'll be back!
Amazing restaurant, great service, food was delicious, food presentation was great, staff was very friendly and attentive, it felt fairly priced would even say actually a good value for the service and food, definitely recommended!

The wagu nigiri was amazing! Service was a little slow due to only having one server it seemed on staff

seafood and chicken dishes were using frozen material, rice and seaweed were cheap stuff. Very overrated. Ok place.

Based on other reviews, I had decent expectations. However, the food wasn’t quite right during my visit, the rice split into two chunks when I picked it up and struggled to hold together. I also noticed some resistance when biting into it, which is quite unusual for Japanese cuisine.

The staff was friendly, but the food didn’t live up to the expectations set by the photos in the reviews. The sushi rice in the nigiri lacked the proper texture, and the taiyaki was dry and not at all moist or flavorful.

Food was very impressive. Sushi and zirashi sushi don were the best that I've had in the US! I liked the seasoning on the rice especially the seaweed! It was my birthday and the chef gave me two complementary sushi I was so touched!! And all the food and the service were very nice. I want to visit this restaurant again if I have a chance to go to Chicago. and I recommended this restaurant to my friend who lives in Chicago! Thank you for making a good food experience !

This was our favorite restaurant throughout our visit to Chicago. The happy hour menu was fantastic. The house made yuzu sake was truly special, couldn't get enough of it.
