Wow! Great new estaurant by the owner of Due Lire! It's a beautiful space with be a great menu and the best service! First time here, super busy, inside and out, on a Saturday night. *Update: After a year of coming here, really can't say enough about how delicious the food is and how inviting the experience is. The tuna tartare and all of the pastas are highly recommended.
I have now been to Milanese 4 times and it's about time I wrote a review. We love it! We have sat at the bar, inside and outside. Every time we have had great service and wonderful food. We have our favorites - the carpaccio, the zucchini blossoms, the tortelloni with the amoretto cookies, the wild boar with homemade pappardelle and the desserts! Get the panna cotta al pistachio! Everything we have had has been delicious! So glad it is in the neighborhood!

What a gem in Lincoln Square!! This is truly authentic!!I always loved going to Due Lire Vino & Cucina but now I can definitely bounce between the two.My friend and I seat at bar and we started with their homemade focaccia which was incredibly soft & tasty. Then we had few apps like the zucchini blossoms ( absolutely a must try) and then the fave fresche con Pecorino. What a treat the whole experience was. Most delicious wine was offered ( we had a superb Aglianico).Bartender was attentive & professional.Owner came and introduced himself , an incredibly nice & friendly gentleman who was pretty much everywhere! We felt so well taking care and can’t wait to go back.

It deserves no stars meaning bucks. The food socks, cooks suck, and employees all socks close this location Service, people and food are terrible just like the big apple expensive and nasty with ignorant staff working.

This place is a true gem for those seeking an authentic taste of Italy. Being from the north of Italy myself, I was blown away by the amazing food. It’s like homemade dishes straight from Italy. The service? Outstanding! They treat you like family, just like we do up north. Plus, the atmosphere of the place creates a cozy and relaxed dining experience. It’s my go-to place whenever I’m feeling homesick!

The food was fresh and flavorful. Our server was super friendly and informative. Prices were good for the quality you got. We had wine and an extra dish, so that upped the spend per person.
Enjoyed the food so much, I forgot to take pictures!

We've been wanting to try this place since it opened, and we are so happy we did! We came here for a date night last week, and everything was amazing. The food was delicious, the cocktails and wine were really great, the service was attentive and welcoming, and the ambience was inviting and cozy. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server, Miguel, was really friendly and took great care of us. We started with the fried meatballs, tuna tartar, and rucola salad to start, all of which were so good. We got the tagliatelle ragu and branzino for our mains, also of which were so good. We got the shortbread cake and chocolate gelato for dessert, which we loved as well. All in all, the food tasted very fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be back here!
