Loved everything about this stop. Decor is amazingly freaky, beers very good, cool t-shirts and friendly service.

This place is a true gem. Funky, artsy atmosphere and decorations, super down-to-earth and kind bartenders, and the beer itself was excellent. Options for on-site and to-go. They even gave us a couple beer tokens for next time and some cool stickers.

Dog-friendly inside as well. We will be back, this place is definitely an asset to this neighborhood!

This place is great just to come and see. Old school skate board line the walls. Clever tee shirts for sale. And the beer was just fantastic. There were two DDIPA which tasted amazing, not too fruity and just the right amount of bitter. There was also a marzan with just a hint of chocolate at the beginning. Come and grab a pint. Stay and make dinner friends.

Such a rad, hidden gem of a business. If you love horror, metal, weird shit, and/or beer, this place is what’s up.

just wanting to publicly thank all the fine folks at Illuminated for a fantastically good time last night for their 4th anniversary party. The beer is fantastic, but the highlight is really how everyone on staff is so good at making you feel welcome and appreciated!

This place is great! Love the brews. And I’m not usually a beer person but they have won me over! I’m a fan!

Quite the place! Bartender made us feel welcome and were able to enjoy a few brews with some banter. Will be coming back with friends for trivia I think.

Vibes are immaculate and the beers are great. My wife and I checked this place out cuz we were in the area and we will come back just for IBW for sure!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Beers were delicious, I’m not even a fan of IPAs and theirs were pretty solid. I loved their porter and their hard seltzer, absolutely delicious. We also happened in when they had live music, which was fun! We will be back. ❤️

This place is a vibe! The beers are great, they're very LGBTQ friendly, the decor is awesome, we ordered a pizza and they had paper plates, napkins, and crushed red pepper for us, and there were plenty of dogs to make friends with. I'll definitely be coming back

Not gonna lie, the vibe was a bit creepy walking in.
Other then that. We enjoyed a good cold beer after a long flight and enjoyed their picnic tables outside.

So lucky to have this stellar business and staff in our neighborhood! They have so many unique events from bands to famous authors and artists. The beers are some of the best brews in the nation!

Inside secret tip: patrons who bicycle there get a big discount for the visit. A few blocks from UP- NW and a 5 minute bicycle ride from Blue Line Harlem station.

Went for a show on a Friday night and got treated horribly by the male bartender/manager. When we went to close out we were told that our card was not working. No problem, we tried 4 other cards and the system kept denying them. The manager handled the situation by telling us we had no money and calling us idiots. This ended up being an error from the system, obviously, but he continued to insult us as we tipped and left.
