Stopped in here one night during our weekend trip to Chicago. We were staying in the area and this was a really cool spot nearby! The food was delicious and the staff very kind and welcoming. A really fun, funky, nerdy space. Lots of arcade games and board games. Definitely recommend! :)

A great spot to hang out! We came for the lasagna flight, stayed for the board games! They have 19+ different lasagnas that they rotate regularly. Great service.

Oh. My. Goodness. Was not expecting such flavorful delicious comforting food from this little place, but it blew me away. The tomato basil bread with the garlic confit is hearty and ridiculously addictive. The staff was lovely and acclimated am extra side of the bread and confit for my partner and I when we couldn’t get enough. The sausage lasagna was so delicious, the ricotta was light and satisfying. And the bread pudding (pictured)! Had a lovely bite and texture but wasn’t too heavy. The setting, inside the Mission Control Arcade Bar, is fun and brings out your inner child. I wish I took pictures of more of the food but was too busy eating to remember ? I’m excited to go back and try more of their different lasagnas (I think they have 15 kinds and they vary from day to day) and have more of that confit and pudding.

If you are looking for a perfectly curated meal that feels both decadent and home cooked- Impastable is for you! From their hand made noodles to their impeccable desserts, every part of our meal was not only delicious, but incredibly priced. Impastable has something for every pallet and is the new restaurant that Rogers Park needed... I can't give a high enough recommendation! We will be back!!

I was able to be a part of their opening day and I will tell you this is exactly what Rogers Park needs! I started off with Italian wedding soup and the Caprese pasta salad, each of which were so refreshing and made me want to eat more. That's when the lasagna flight came. A brilliant idea that was even more brilliantly executed with such unique combinations of hand-made (that's right) noodles and different cheeses/meats (with vegetarian option too). Rounded off with tiramisu in a cup.... I haven't had a perfect meal like this in a long time. OH and with residency at Mission Control I popped off on a few classic arcade games as well. Treat yoself to a great night with Impastable at Mission Control!!
