About Ina Mae

Ina Mae is a restaurant that offers decent food, focusing on Southern and New Orleans-inspired dishes. The menu features a variety of flavorful options like fried catfish Po boy, gumbo, fried cauliflower, crab cakes, and red beans and rice, which are highly recommended by customers. The corn is noted for its incredible flavor, and the shrimp is fried to perfection. The restaurant has a rotating seasonal cocktail menu, including themed drinks such as the Hurricane and witches brew, which are praised for their generous alcohol content. The atmosphere includes live music and special events, like kids bingo night, creating a lively vibe that families enjoy. The space is small, and reservations are sometimes required, especially on busy nights, but there are options for outdoor seating when available. Service can be inconsistent, with some customers experiencing difficulty in getting attention from staff, especially when the restaurant is crowded or during peak hours. The restaurant has a New Orleans theme and offers a variety of authentic flavors, making it a lively spot for those seeking a taste of Southern culture. The Mac & Cheese is incredible, and the biscuit has received high praise as one of the best ever tasted. The menu prices are fairly reasonable for the city, and the food overall is good, with some dishes like mac and cheese missing a little something. The crab and artichoke dip is highly recommended, and customers have noted that the portions are well worth the price. The restroom is accessed by walking down a flight of stairs.

We sat there for a good 15 mins with no waiter. The waiter that had our table walked passed us numerous...read full review
