We visited Chicago from California and Indian Garden Restaurant was easily the best meal we had during our entire stay. The food was absolutely amazing, so authentic, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with every dish tasting fresh and full of traditional Indian flavors. We truly loved every bite. The staff was just as incredible, so welcoming, attentive, and kind, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Chicago and looking for authentic Indian food, this place is a must visit.

I’ve been to this place dozens of times, and the food has been satisfying almost every visit. The buffet is fantastic, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The standout for me is the lamb—it’s truly authentic Indian cuisine and tastes just like homemade food. I especially enjoy pairing it with their butter naan. Absolutely delicious.
I’m not usually an all-you-can-eat person, but those who are will definitely appreciate and enjoy the spread. The place is usually packed, and it’s always nice to see people from all backgrounds enjoying the meal.

I had the brunch special over the weekend and it’s the best $27 you’ll spend on a meal in the city and I was reminded why I keep coming back again and again. I enjoyed salads, sides, naan, entrees of fish, chicken, lamb, and paneer and multiple desserts at my own pace in their lovely atmosphere. All perfectly prepared and kept fresh and beautifully displayed by their chef, manager, and hardworking and attentive staff. This restaurant places high importance on the customer experience in addition to authentic Indian cuisine. They also now have a new fresh dosa/crepe station in the center of the dining room at which a chef prepares paper-thin, perfectly golden, make-to-order crepes with a variety of fillings and sauces so you can curate your own flavors each time. The new crepe station takes an already impressive experience to another level. I highly recommend both the lunch buffet during the week, and the brunch buffet on the weekends. It really is nirvana.
