I lived around the corner from Inner Town in the mid 90's. It was not a fancy uptown bar but a place to chill out and relax - with a great jukebox. I went there nightly and eventually met my wife there. We've been married 25 years and we still go back once in awhile. It's not changed at all! Now my daughter hangs out there. I'm a huge fan of Inner Town and I hope it continues to serve us cool kids, who are maybe a little awkward, forever.
When I think of an ideal dive bar this is the type of bar that I imagine. Free pool and darts, friendly people. I wish the prices were a little lower but that's my only complaint.
Found this place thru a friend and it was the most fun I had at a bar all night!! Great music, great staff and well made drinks with good prices. Simple place but great people. Definitely will be back when in town again.
