Every time there is only one employee. The food are so expensive for sub par cookies and freezer burnt ice cream. Why do they charge so much when they short staff the place? Don’t go here or support this company.

The workers are ABSOLUTELY amazing especially Cam, Heven, and Brenda! But after the recent events in the neighborhood this company needs to do better with how they care for their workers. Safety>Profit but it seems as though they dont understand that and its disgusting. Trying to make employees work after a shooting, and I didnt see a team go in and clean the store, is horrible. Look after you workers. I will no longer support this place.

These people are scam artists. I ordered a delivery order and they are liars saying they delivered it. Now I can’t get my money back

Placed a delivery order and it took 40 minutes to even assign a driver. It has now been over an hour and I still have not received my order. I live five minutes away. 10 minutes too with traffic. Tried calling the place twice with no answer after being on hold for 10 minutes. Who knows if I’ll get my order.
Update: received my order after an hour and fifteen minutes. The cookies are not warm at all upon arrival.

“warm cookies”, that’s what’s written on the door. At $3 a sugar cookie from a cookie place in a low key district of Chicago, what would one expect? An at-least-great big warm cookie, right?
Forget it. These are just decent but cold basic cookies that you’d find in any grocery store, sold in average at $5 for a box of 8. And indeed, they pull the cookies out of boxes stored under the counter, out of sight of the customer - of course.
A rip-off at all levels (quality and quantity). 2 stars for atmosphere, bc they re open late. But after all, most grocery stores are as well..
Want a great $3 cookie? Just go to Potbelly. Not the best, but much better than these.
Some businesses just deserve to fail. Seriously.
The positive reviews must be from next door students who refuse to acknowledge their buyer’s regret… that’s the only explanation. Seriously.

The worst customer service racist experience I ever encountered from the Regional Manager. Threw the box towards because I simply asked that the expensive cookies that I brought be put in a box. Refused a refund when asked and demanded that I move from the register after she got to paid so that she can wait on the caucasion couple that entered the store. Refused to give me her last name, refuses to give phone contact info so that I can file a complaint. I said out loud that, I see I'm going to have to be the better one and I exited the store, After having worked 12 hours as a Nurse at the Nursing home upon which she may have relatives!

The workers gave really bad service and didn't care about us customers at all. They made us feel like they didn't want us there, and they ignored us. We couldn't even touch things that were out for us to see without them getting upset. They were rude when they talked to us and didn't show any manners. It was really disappointing, and now we don't want to go back there. It's sad to see them not caring about making us happy, and it makes us not trust them anymore. We won't go there again after this bad experience.

Just visited them for an order and the store employee treated me like an untouchable. I’m brown and there was a cookie box and milkshake probably in the showcase and I turned the box to read it. They said I can’t touch or read it. I would not want anyone to face racism. I have been facing this a lot at such stores in the US and most of the time, the reps that are being racist to me are of colour only. I’m highlighting places that have been the most racist to me (Especially Jewel Osco) and these stores. I mean bro, you are also of colour, why do you want to discriminate me? Just sucks to feel this. I hope nobody gets to face this discrimination. Please stop guys. We don’t deserve this. :(

Rude employees, don't have their own drivers, call some third party delivery that never delivers to your place even when you order through Uber eats.

This is my first time coming into the store and it was pleasant. The staff, Brenda and Dominic, were amazing and super friendly, taking the time to explain what options they had to the other folks in the store. Even though there was a line, it was fairly quick. There’s a few seating so I was able to sit and eat (3 stools against the window).I’ve always ordered delivery - which they actually have delivery drivers!! - who have been amazing and quick! My orders were always warm as if I picked it up there. Definitely recommend this place instead of Crumbl!
