I love the way they decorate the interior; it creates such a cheerful mood.
The salsa was flavorful.
$2 off single origin beans on Sunday, with tasty varieties like a Kenyan peaberry I adore. The pineapple/lime iced espresso is a revelation. Good bathroom, nice water, air conditioning is a treat on a warm day.
I always stop by when I am in the neighborhood.
Easy and relaxed environment.

I don't usually like writing bad reviews (i just personally never visit a place again) but I have to for this one. Ordered a latte on Wed, Sep 3rd and paid a hefty $7 for it. I burned my tongue and I'm still in pain after 5 days that I have to go see a doctor. For a brand that's been around for 30 years, this is such a disappointment. First and last time at another Intelligentsia. Please train your baristas well.
Came in for my first time and Kae was amazing! I’m not really a coffee drinker but I was recommended a nice iced latte. Def will come back for more!

The baristas come off rude and it's a darn shame because coffee is amazing. Be kind, the world is already shit and you guys are to beautiful to act that ugly. Chill, it's coffee. On that note, maybe I caught them in a off day. But a smile and manners go a long way. Take care and thanks for understanding 🙏 😊

Very solid coffee with lots of options for high end pour overs.
There's a nice selection of specialty drinks and pastries as well. A few savory options but no sandwiches.
Overall a really good spot worth going to for high end coffee.

Amazing staff and coffee. Intelligentsia has slowly become my favorite stop in the neighborhood. The coffee is obviously top tier. Smooth, rich, and never bitter. But honestly, it’s the whole experience that keeps me coming back.
The space is bright and open, with a relaxed energy that’s perfect whether I’m catching up on emails or just zoning out with a latte. It feels intentional without trying too hard. Minimal design, big windows, and good music at a volume that doesn’t compete with your thoughts.
The baristas are friendly but not overly chatty. They know their stuff and make consistently good drinks, but they’re also just chill. No coffee snobbery. No weird vibe. If you ask a question about a roast or a pour over, they’ll actually give you a thoughtful answer without making it feel like a lecture.
I’ve also had their pastries a few times. The croissant and canele especially. They’re better than what you’d expect from a coffee shop. Not an afterthought.
It does get busy during peak hours, but it never feels chaotic. People come here to actually enjoy their coffee. Not just to inhale caffeine and run. And I respect that.

Rolled up to Intelligentsia Broadway Coffeebar and grabbed an Iced Oat Milk Matcha Latte and a Daily Batch Brew, plus a kouign‑amann pastry. Dropped about $18 before tip. Vibe’s industrial‑chic but chill, baristas cool and know their stuff—coffee legit, matcha was smooth. Seating gets packed mid‑day, and it can get noisy, but still a solid spot to get caffeinated and hang.

The worst oat matcha iced latte that I’ve ever had. The Intelligentsia Coffee Shop on broadway serves pre-made matcha batches. What is the whole point of serving PRE-MADE matcha latte when you can’t even get the benefits of drinking matcha? when matcha sit for too long specially when is mixed with milk or water and not refrigerated (like was the case here) it loses all the benefits. It becomes more bitter or tasteless, it loses the bright green color, and the flavor is dull (flavorless), it reduces matcha antioxidants, and the whole experience of having matcha benefits is pointless. And the overall experience of having a fresh high quality matcha is meaningless, and to make worst you pay $10 bucks for a low quality matcha that lacks all the nutricional value that you are expecting in the first place.
Their drink selection is delicious but a little on the pricier side compared to other coffee shops in the neighborhood. The food is all really tasty and well-worth the price, and the staff is always super friendly. My only issue with Intelligentsia is that their wifi is unreliable more often than not, with either very slow speeds or random connection dropping. It might not be a great place for doing remote work, but it's a great place to meet up and enjoy a drink.

I missed Intelligentsia in Pasadena, so I visited this one. The coffee tastes best, as always.
