Meanwhile, our server Angel took good care of me with drinks as I waited. We had the calamari, split a Ceasar salad, the gnocchi and a meatball sub and cheesecake. The restaurant has a very particular style. To access, you need to climb a staircase that could benefit from better ventilation. Wonderful historic gem within the heart of downtown Chicago with amazing food, atmosphere and service! We enjoyed the Italian Cobb, lasagne, and whitefish with extremely attentive service. It feels like you are literally stepping into a historic Italian Village with the decor of little homes, stores, paddle wheel and it all adds to the experience. This is one of my favorite spots in Chicago and the food and experience never disappoints!
