The atmosphere was amazing and food was delicious. Our favorite was the smoked lamb ribs- super tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the youvertsi, wood oven octopus, village salad, all the different spreads and of course desserts! You also must order a fish- I believe we had the lavraki but I don't think you can go wrong with any fish because they're all shipped in daily so it tastes very fresh.
Maria is an exceptional waitress, shes very warm, has great recommendations and pays attention. This time however the pastitsio was disappointing, the pastitsio my first time here (September) was incredible and I came back for it but the recipe has changed.. it tasted more dry and a lot more bland whereas a month ago it literally tasted authentic. Been a long time Greektown go-er , and this was a beautiful revitalization of the cuisine in the area. Don’t be fooled; from the outside, it looks somewhat small, yet once you step inside, it’s much deeper and more expansive than one would imagine.
