The food was incredible every dish felt intentional and packed with flavor. I genuinely can't wait to come back. Our bartender knew the menu inside and out and gave spot on recommendations that elevated the whole experience. The hostess provided a warm, welcoming, and the perfect start to an amazing meal.

We went for my best friend's birthday! They customized the menu to greet him and the staff was so welcoming and friendly! The food was wonderful, we weren't too fond of the desserts but everything else was divine! Definitely would recommend the seared mackerel nigiri and the salmon sashimi! My best friend really enjoyed the snow crab roll and loved the scallops!!

I'm just going to rate 1 star to any restaurant who adds an extra % charge to “offset costs”. 4% extra in this case. Dumb. Just raise the freaking price on the menu. Otherwise is bait and switch. Do better

We went for brunch, and it was different and really good. We shared the ube muffins (delicious), the bagels (a mix between a steamed bun and a bagel), and the harumaki, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the Japanese breakfast teishoku (miso soup, rice, and teriyaki salmon), and I really enjoyed it. The salmon was perfectly cooked—not raw, but very juicy. The best part is that you don't feel overly full or heavy after the meal, just satisfied. It was very quiet, so it's not the best place if you're looking for a busy atmosphere. Also, the server was amazing—very helpful and always smiling. I would definitely go back

Yeah, not bad. I don't understand all the hype around it, but since I don't eat sushi, maybe I should keep quiet. They did mess up my order, but I had already started eating it, and I don't like to complain. The server asked if she should remake it, but it's not worth the trouble.

Loved this beautiful neighborhood gem. The food is delicious, fresh and unique. Our server Kellen went above and beyond, super knowledgeable about the menu and clearly loves his job, the restaurant and the food. He was engaging and fun, suggested great items and made the experience memorable. We will definitely be back and will be telling all our friends.
Itoko is always great! One of my daughter's favorite places! Which is rare, since she's a picky eater! Always love the staff too!

The restaurants vibe was really good, service was fair. However, I will have to say for those of you who genuinely enjoy true Japanese food, this place is not it. The hamachi crudo was too fruity, taste of the fish completely gone. The tuna trio sushi was fruity, ruined the taste of the fish. The cucumber salad, tasted a day old. The traditional maki's were OK. We got the firey chicken wings, it leaves this weird tingling sensation, could not eat rest of the meal.

Our evening was absolutely amazing. If I could give the service more than 5 stars I would. Brenna was our server and she made us feel so special and cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better night! 10/10 recommend!!!

We had a few plates to share. Started with the shrimp salad, which was a nice start, the shrimp got a big lost in the salad but good overall. The Kato Tako (octopus) was the stand out dish of the night. A spicy tuna role, fresh, thought the fish was great quality. We got the beef rice, great tasting but the beef was hard to find. Finally we had the chicken thighs over charcoal which was delicious way to end, very well cooked and seasoned. Overall very good, and very minor notes.
