I went there with my girlfriend for a date. We ordered the dango, she ordered the vegetarian chahan, I ordered the lamb chops, mushroom tempura maki, otoro sashimi, and we got the raspberry passion dessert. Every item ordered was delicious. Brittany (sp) was amazing, was so knowledgeable and guided us through our evening for a seamless dining experience. It was our last night visiting Chicago and it was the perfect ending with the best service we had recieved throughout our entire trip. PS. Do not skip dessert!
What an amazing space and meal to boot. The dinning spaces are impressive – for a more intimate experience try a table upstairs. I’ve never thought of pate as Japanese but the Jidori Kimo was amazing, and the Broccoli Goma-ae makes for a nice refreshing starter. We were also impressed with Chahan.
