Terrible service. My wife and I went and ordered a glass of wine each, which we got quickly. We finished those within 10 min. For the next 25 min our glasses sat empty at the edge of the bar and 3 servers straight up acted like they didn’t see us looking at them (<10’ away) waiting to order another glass while they all 3 looked like they were trying to close the place down (didn't close for another hr and a half). We eventually just ended up literally waiving at one of them to get their attention and closed out. When we did the girl was very short with us. Ended up just going to one of the many other spots on this block. To not be completely negative, the wine was good, but when is wine not good.

What an amazing wine bar. They have an excellent list that really pleased my out of town sommelier friend. They even have a lovely franciocorta that is really hard to find and really lovely staff that are funny and warm. It’s everything you would want in an Armitage wine bar: old world, vibey, laid back, high quality — will return

If you really dig a wine bar, this place is probably for you - Nick took great care of us, and the room was fun
Serve their neat whiskey in a Glencairn tulip glass, which ain’t my favorite but some people appreciate - also, the orange wine? Surprisingly delicious

Went here on a first date. Cute cubbies for couples and a large clean bar. Clean bathrooms as well. I got the Last Word and the drink with a red wine float (I’m forgetting the name). Both were excellent! Will be going again to try more wines!!

To the management: Charging $28 for a glass of Champagne and serving it anything less than ice cold is unacceptable. Please invest in a proper fridge for the bar. Champagne should be served colder than still white wine—this is basic knowledge for anyone running a wine bar. An upscale-looking establishment should know better.
Great, cozy place to meet for drinks. Wine was delicious:)

Nice spot to grab a glass of wine and have a conversation with a friend. Have not tried the charcuterie, so will add more next time!

They no longer serve wine flights ??
All their best wines are by the bottle only.
Same post-Covid problem of not enough servers/bartenders/waitresses at the place
Great wine selection. Chill space. Great for an afternoon glass of wine.

Sooooo cute. Lovely wine spot in a fun area of Lincoln Park. Go when it's warm out and sit by the windows or on the patio to people watch. This is the perfect spot to go before a fancier dinner nearby (pro tip: put in your name at Armitage Alehouse and wait here). There aren't a lot of food options-it's a wine bar- but what they do have is great.

Loved this place! It’s so cozy and comfortable inside. The wine was great and reasonably priced. The server was a little standoffish but nice enough and checked in. The only feedback I’d have is to play some more instrumental or jazzy music rather than the early 2000s hits they had one. Overall loved it here and will definitely be back!
