I had the curry Chicken .. rice & peas ..cornbread .. Plantains..white Potatoes .. chocolate & Plain Rum cakes ..coffee .. hard sourdough bread ..everything was fresh & very flavorful without being overwhelming with so many different ingredients ... both rum cakes were good ... nice lively colorful decor ...OQ

It would have been a great experience if the manager in service were trained in customer service. He was very rude to one of us to the embarrassment of the servers. Everyone was very professional apologizing for his behavior. I had to gather myself to tell him nicely you don't talk to customer like that.

Went here for my sisters birthday on a Sunday. Got seated outside. Waited 20+ minutes to be served so we went inside to ask for attendance then had to wait another 10+ minutes just to be brought water so we ended up leaving. Super disappointing becuase we specifically wanted to support a black business but felt pretty disregarded except by the beautiful waitress who was so kind and understanding and had actually asked if we’d been attended multiple times to the front of house who misinformed her. I remember their food to be decent so I gave an honest review on the food but the service and atmosphere was poor :/ at least for outdoor seating.

It has been a while couple years since I last went to this restaurant. It was cool, but I want this past Monday me and my Bestie went before she left and take her fly back to Dallas. She had the taco dinner and I had the stew chicken when I tell you that evening and even to this day as I’m writing this review, I have been physically down and out finally went to the doctor. I was told it was food poisoning. I talked to Marco he said oh well I’ll talk to the GM. I’m sorry this happened to you. Yeah I’m sure you are sorry you weren’t in pain bent over to the floor. You were nauseated. You didn’t have a fever, night sweats stomach cramps. You think you gotta go to the bathroom but no action but it’s cool. I’ll just write this review about the Restaurant. Still on the road to recovery.

We chose to dine at this restaurant mostly due to outdoor seating being advertised. When we arrived we were told that the only server would appreciate us sitting inside with everyone else. Thank you anyway. Its a beautiful summer day, and we chose to dine outdoors.
First timer, this place is a vibe. Pro: Happy hour is on point, decent prices, hard-working bartenders make good drinks. Chicken tacos is a go to item and jerk sauce has a right amount of spice😋 Patio out front w/ Dj is a vibe. Noticed people brought their lounge chairs. Cons: Observed an unwelcoming mean-mugging, disposition manager (starts w/an “A”) and not nice when speaking to patrons. Not good for the business. Besides that I might go back.

Ordered a salmon dish and curry chicken.Food portions were good, cabbage was overcooked other side of rice and peas was standard. The service was disappointing. I attribute this to automatic gratuity added in for a party of two. Once food was ordered the server did not reappear until it was time for the check, she was socializing at the bar. We did have a busser refill our water, who also delivered our food to the table. It was around 3pm and not busy at all.

Was in town for a visit. I came for the ox tails and they were out of them. No patties. In a new place, I decided to see how their jerk chicken tasted since they didn’t have my favs. The wings were decent and the jerk entree was OK. Not the best jerk I’ve had. Not close. But was definitely tasty and I would recommend. But if you’re used to authentic Jamaican jerk, this isn’t it. The service was fine and rhe atmosphere was 🔥. Definitely a good hang if visiting the chi. I would go back for the atmosphere alone 😎💪🏿🙌🏾
