Jaiyen Sushi & Noodle

The sushi is exceptional and the decorative presentation of the rolls is very cool and unique. Each plate had intricate designs crafted from sauces to match the unique rolls. The staff was also very nice, attentive, and quick.

I dropped into this spot for lunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the chill vibe, the great playlist, and the attention to service.

The service was quiet and friendly, and the lunch special was delicious at a great rate. I would recommend anyone with a sushi itch go here for a scratch. I hope to come back soon for the other things on the menu.

I live nearby and didn't think too much about it when we walked in on a whim but I am definitely coming back! The service was very attentive, I felt like a little kid with the surprise of whipped cream and sprinkles on the Thai Tea and then getting cute drawings in sauce with the sushi. New favorite local spot for sure!

We dined in, Jaiyen was what satisfied our craving for some noodles and fried rice. The items and portions were reasonably priced but some items weren’t really described on the menu. Considering we weren’t from the area and just visiting.

This is my favorite sushi place in Chi! My husband and I make sure to travel to Avondale every month. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is incredibly kind, and the decorations add on to the super cozy vibe. I’ll always be a happy customer!

Five stars for fantastic service! The gentleman who took our order had a big smile and helped me pick out a tasty dish from their expansive menu! The serving plate for the Gyoza is a boat and I love that! The Udon Noodle Soup was good on a cold, rainy night it helped perk me up and give me energy. They helped clear away the empty dishes quickly. The decor is also great and fun! Easy to park on the side street!

we get takeout from here a lot. we love the basil chicken, the tom yum, tofu red curry and the tempura. most recent order we got pad see ew and it was borderline inedible - mushy and flavorless. but in general this place plays the hits well!

Despite the “OPEN” sign being on, it was closed. Was passing by and thought to try it. Admittedly I didn’t know what their hours were but stopped because the light was on

Literally the best value meal. $21 dinner for 2 with free crab Rangoon online.
