Old fashioned hot dog and broasted chicken joint. Operating under the same family owners for over 70 years, Jake’s is an Uptown institution. Best known for its colorful window graphics (“Only a rooster can get a better piece of chicken”), it has limited seating, lots of carry out, and delivery through the usual services. I love this place. Their chicken and shakes are to die for, and every time I walk in Im able to find a table to sit and eat. The people at the register are so kind and friendly, and they always make sure I have everything I need. THANK YOU JAKE’S 🙌 🩷😊
