Jarvis is a great neighborhood burger joint, I order from here at least once a week. Food is fresh and tasty (and they even serve mexican food!) The owners are polite and quick with preparing the food. Serving area is clean & there's even some outdoor seating nearby if you would prefer to eat in the sun.

This guy works HARD. I support him because Alderman Hadden shafted him and had Lyft bike racks installed which block his shop while giving her cronies on the opposite side of Jarvis outdoor seating. Don't ask - of course they are known donors to her campaign and host parties for her. VERY unprofessional and biased of her, but I expect nothing better from her very shameful levels of incompetence and cronyism. Roger's Park elected a real loser.

Don't Worry
They don’t open the hours they are supposed to. The owner open the hours he wants. The short Mexican lady makes you repeat yourself 2 or more times. I live down the street and I can say they do have poor customer service and don’t take care of their restaurant. very unprofessional very uncaring If they can’t seem to keep their business open and going why even have it open.

Never open during hours that are posted. Unclean dining area and a cheap screen door as a secondary door. The employees are rude and unprofessional. The short Mexican lady with the thin edges and poor comprehension always makes me repeat my order three-four times and tonight still managed to get my order wrong. Cheap eats can be seen as a hidden gem but if it comes with bottom of the barrel service and 3/10 quality then I 100% do not want it. Save yourself the trouble of having to repeat simple orders and being treated poorly for wanting to correct the mistake they made… BTW it wasn’t like they were slammed with customers they never even are. Most I’ve seen when I come in is maybe two other people but usually it’s empty. Jarvis Grill is a ghost town for a reason. #Beware

this is the 3rd time on three separate Sunday's that I have tried to go and order food and the sign say open but the doors are always locked. Today was upsetting, as I approached the door someone went from the back of the counter to the back. just keep the sign off and update your website and when you see a customer approaching your door don't run to the back, just simply tell them you're closed for the moment or for the day
They still taste the same when I used to stay down the street. Only wish they included as a meal w/ fries & a pop on a side instead they charge individually ?but it was fair if you hungry quick
