Really bad service, the older Asian lady has no idea how to talk to customers and I’m pissed enough to never come back even though I used to be a regular. I’d recommend one of the other liquor stores or gas stations in this area, it’s expensive here and you get attitude.

Jay's is a great local liquor store. Many different alcoholic beverages to choose from. Beers, Liquors and Wines..Great for a quick pick up, only downside..The store and parking lot can be a cramped up at times, slightly pricey cause of Chicago Tax...Other than that, Jay's is a great spot to pick up your favorite alcoholic beverage and some snacks to go with it if you wish.

I perfer to goto hardwood heights liquor store on Lawrence Ave kiddy corner from Mariano’s in the strip mall, I was at Jays and the owner just started to stare at me while I was looking at what product I wanted to drink and after lookin for 5mins then he ask can j help u I said No I’m lookin at wat I feel like drinking tonight and he still proceeded to stand 7 or 8 feet away and kept staring at me so then I asked him if he had any 300$ or 500$ bottle of cognac? He said No which I knew he wouldn’t have that so I said thank u goodbye! So I went to the one on Lawrence and bought this great Irish beer it was so fresh! The freshest I ever had before and the guy is great and friendly in there!

$40 bottle of Glenfiddich I had just purchased slipped out of the container as I walked out onto their parking lot, smashing into 50 pieces on the pavement. I went back in asking for a replacement thinking there was no way they would grant it They explained they would not get reimbursed by their sales rep, but gave me another anyway at no charge! 5 BIG STARS!!!
