Love this place. The prices are very good. This give you much food and it tasted so good. All food served with love and kindness.
I enjoyed my experience at Jean’s Soul Food Cafe on Mother’s Day with my mother. She loved her grits and omelet. I loved the fried pork chops, hash browns & over medium eggs. I will be returning. Sheba was great, her energy was amazing.
First time me and my bestie was here…and yall the steak was a hit so tender juicy seasoned to perfection. Miss Boo killed it on the grill the pancakes were fluffy crispy soooo good…I’ll be back to try another dish I couldn’t believe the experience

I love their greens. Mac and cheese, dressing, baked chicken, liver onions and rice, beef rib tips. Chicken noddles soup is the bomb dot com.
Vegetarian options: Greens ,yams, ?, beans, rice, string beans.
This place is so awesome the staff member that was there are so respectable and professional they serve really good food there the baked chicken I had bought was so delicious with the bread and greens and macaroni and cheese it was so good self delicious I'll be going back there for some more delicious food they have PS Donnell Burnett
I love the food here but the customer service needs work. I placed my order and paid for it and waited patiently. The lady who prepared my dinners asked me 3 times, did I pay? And still wanted to confirm if I had a receipt. It took me a few minutes tl find it in my purse. However I noticed her asking the cashier if I paid. The cashier was nice and confirmed that I paid earlier for my food. I understand that people have a job to do and no one wants to give out free stuff but it's very unprofessional to accuse someone of stealing that's supporting your business. That really turned me off and my order had missing items......disappointed! Then she had the nerve to ask me if I wanna purchase some peach cobbler. No thankyou ma'am?
Had fried catfish, spaghetti and coleslaw. All were delicious. My friends said the liver and greens were really good as well. Inside is a little shabby, but the service is accommodating and they keep it clean. Food is worth the wait.
Parking: Lot is sufficient, but when it's busy, parking is super tight and tricky.
Ahhh let’s talk about Jean’s Cafe! Sorry if you’re looking for the part where I say something bad you won’t find it in this review. They’re food is always hot and fresh. The waitresses are friendly Sheba being my favorite she is the reason I start coming more often. She is so friendly and down to earth. I see a lot of people talk about the time it takes to prepare the food but fresh cooked food is always going to take a little bit longer than say McDonald’s. You get all the southern feels in the first bite of their stuff if my grandma were still here I’d tell her she had a little bit of competition. Lol. It’s a small establishment, but efficient! Prices are very fair, especially in this day and age where eggs and butter have sky rocketed in price. Money has to be made to get the place afloat. If I had to say anything bad I’d say I wish their food wasn’t so good so I would be in there once or twice a week☺️??!! Give them a chance, small black business in the heart of the community !!
