My first experience was great . My second experience was goodMy third experience ? smooth … they are a nice bar… it was too hot though they need better air circulation… because it was a peculiar odor Sunday … they need cleaner bathrooms… & i didn’t drink. The music was 3/5 …. I was there for bout 1hr. And it has gotten safer!Haven’t tried food. Idk if they have any.Nice bar. It’s a universal bar… so everyone of age is accepted .
Rather than rally support for one of the VERY FEW Chicago South Side venues catering to the LGBT+ population and its allies - that has managed to stay in business for DECADES - it’s so much easier to bash it. Dysfunction Breeds Discord. I appreciate the resilience of the business and its long history of providing a safe space for mainly Black LGBT+ folks on the South Side. It’s never been upscale but I don’t think it was intended to be. Back in the day, it was a rare watering...
