quality cream. little pricey but great vibes. could expand flavor repertoire
This is a little gem in Old Town Chicago! I was so happy that I strolled into this beautiful, bright, and delicious space. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the amazing original flavored ice-creams. There is plenty of seating and a cute staircase that is Insta-worthy. The seasonal flavored ice cream was a real treat!
Very expensive for the amount of ice cream you get.
They have the gall to ask for tips for scooping ice cream.
Never going back again
Excellent choice of ice cream flavors and customer service is friendly and kind!
Lord have mercy on my soul, this place is going to make me so fat 🤣 it has seriously good ice cream. The waffle bowl is also very interesting, it is more salty than sweet and balances the sweetness of the ice cream. Best waffle bowl I’ve ever had hands down. They make the waffle bowls there, I don’t know if they make the ice cream there but it’s very very veryyyyy delicious. The atmosphere is also very cute and the ice cream scoopers (the staff) will tell you exactly what is in each one, like a little lesson about the ice cream.
Great taste. Truly Chicago's best ice cream
Delicious ice cream with allergen labels. Gluten free is marked on ice cream labels along with vegan and dairy free. Seasonal flavors such as root bear float and goose tracks are tasty and refreshing.
Expensive but nice place

I like Jenni's because of how many cool and interesting flavors they have. I especially like the almond brittle and salted caramel. The thing is, they are on the pricey side and they serve very small "half scoops". The two half scoops amount to about 1/2 of a normally sized scoop that I can get at local, non-chain establishments. Micro scoops, if you will. But, the ice cream is delicious! One thing also; the wildberry lavender flavor tastes like orange sherbet. Kinda weird, but still yummy.
Dietary restrictions: A few select non-dairy items. Almost nothing can be 100% guaranteed to be gluten free.

Very good ice creams with original flavors (but North American and it was close to Halloween!).

It’s delicious!
Great ice cream. Not kid-friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Def not kid friendly. Surprisingly, they had little tolerance for my toddlers’ behavior, which was pretty within the normal range of toddler behavior. I’d expect an ice cream store to have more modest expectations of formality. But they asked my kid to take her hands off the glass case showing the ice cream and didn’t smile. And glared at us. I tried to get out as quick as possible.

There is nothing like a couple scoops of your favorite Jeni’s Ice cream after a good dinner. To me it is always worth the price lol. My favorite flavors are Almond Brittle & Bramble Berry Crisp. This location is pretty neat since they have this upstairs seating area that fits about 5-10 guests.
