Cute little ice cream shop! Yummy flavors that hit the spot! Would visit again for sure!

I went there today and I work down the street so I’m in this area all the time and the girl who worked there made me feel horrible about myself. When we walked in she barely said hello was not happy to be there. I asked her nicely if there was any low calorie flavors or something she could suggest a normal question which of course if she doesn’t know that’s ok!!! She could’ve said nicely no and I would’ve understood instead this young lady laughed a little and smirked with an attitude like no I don’t know and shrugged her shoulders as to say it was a dumb question I told her it’s just a question and she rolled her eyes at me just very rude very short if I had an allergy or needed to ask anything else I wouldn’t have felt comfortable doing so at all she made me feel like I was bothering her and she works there west loop is friendly usually and I worked at a restaurant for 10 years and now customer service for the law firm down the street and that’s just not the way you speak to people or treat them. Totally unacceptable I left let her know I was leaving due to her attitude and my co worker left with me. Just not ok!!! Hope she doesn’t treat future customers like that

Was at Jenni’s ice cream in oakbrook center on 5/11/2025 for Mother’s day. Eduardo was very outstanding, so patient and polite he didn’t rush us at all- he was very attentive to our questions with flavors.If I can I would give him 10 stars but since I can’t he should be reviewed for a raise. Thank you

So, here's the thing. Very pretty place. Loved sampling different flavours. So many options. But that's about it. Ice creams are very sugar forward. The sweetness almost envelopes the mouth. I know it is a personal preference to want a less sweet, balanced 'flavor' in an ice cream. But both the strawberry and the gooey flavours were very sweet and on top the waffle bowl too, tasted like sugared cereal.

Visited with my son who’s visibly a child.
There was a mom and child in front of me and the child requested the parent to get ice cream as well. The Jeni’s employee,
Suggested 2 kid scoops.
Meanwhile, from the same employee, my son ordered a scoop and I ordered a standard. I was charged standard for both of us. Ice cream is always great quality. Just the the experience a bit strange at
this location

Great experience and ice cream. Everyone was patient and kind. Nate at the register was welcoming and helped explain/set up some features on the ap. Overall good experience and the ice cream.

Very nice aesthetic and good flavour range but only 2 dairy free flavours is limited and disappointing especially for a hippy and modern type of establishment in downtown Chicago

This place should be 5 STARS! It's the most delicious ice cream I have EVER HAD! I've had ice cream in different states and nothing comes close 😋

​Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in the Loop is a must-visit for any ice cream lover. I spent about $15 here, treating myself to a small scoop of their signature Brambleberry Crisp and a kids' scoop of the dairy-free Banana Cream Pudding. The Brambleberry Crisp had a rich, creamy base with a delightful berry compote swirl, while the Banana Cream Pudding was smooth and refreshing. The staff was friendly, and the shop had a clean, modern vibe.

Solid spot great cones gave it a 4 for the lack of variety of flavors.

Jeni’s Never Disappoints! The flavors are absolutely amazing, as always. Bumbleberry and Texas road ice were some of the best I’ve had in a while—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The customer service was great, and there was plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Jeni’s is always on point! Highly recommend to anyone who loves quality ice cream.

Unique flavors, great service. I had to stop by here as to see what the hype was all about. There is usually a line out the door especially during summer. Now I see why the many flavors and high quality ice cream and shakes as well as you can buy pints to take home with you. I will be back soon.

Oh my gosh what a fun ice cream place! So many unique flavors. I'm obsessed with it and wish I had one close to me at home.
