We have enjoyed everything we’ve tried at Jennivee’s (which is a LOT!). Our favorites are the chocolate ube cheesecake “chobeh,” the pumpkin spice cheesecake, and the strawberry cake. The space is pretty big, so it’s a good gathering spot for friends, especially as it’s open late.

I had my birthday cake made by Jennivee's, and I'm glad I did. I had the red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and it was DIVINE. I'm already trying to think of the next event I can make an excuse to order another cake from here. I've never had better.

Took a stroll down Halstead in Chicago and found Jennivee's Bakery & Cafe. Ordered just a simple Cappuccino and Almond Croissant. I’ve found that there are cafes who know how to make a cappuccino and those that do not: Jennivee's knows how to make them. But that wasn’t the best part - this Almond Croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful and baked to perfection. What a nice late morning find! I took a couple of bites before I realized I hadn’t taken a picture yet!

Went with some friends that came to visit from out of state. Came in to have the uber ice cream and guess what, they had put all the ice cream away, they said that it was broken, on a Saturday night! We had the coconut cake, it was super dry and not tasty at all. The coffee was cold as well. The service was horrible. Ignoring the customers and instead they were cleaning at 6 pm!!! In The afternoon. Please have a reality check You are serving clients be friendly and approachable at least!!

I got to return to a very unique and aesthetically pleasing bakery in Lakeview. I had the Ube latte paired with an Ube cupcake, and it was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my cravings, I Highly recommend checking out such a delicious and unique café and bakery. They also have gelato!

I brought a slice of a coconut cake to take home. I think the cake was OLD and poorly baked. It was very dried, dense, and oddly spongy. Waste of $9.75. I will never go back to this place. Don’t let the colorful cup cakes and huge cakes fool you. all show and no substance

I’m not a big fan of cakes generally, but Jennivee’s cakes are fantastic. They’re moist, flavorful, but not overly sweet. There’s a good balance and delicateness to the frosting. Great dessert place added to the neighborhood, and it’s a quaint space. Look forward to them sticking around a long time.
