Jeong was fantastic! The interior is nice (good lighting and decor), although maybe it could be a bit more spacious. Nonetheless, everything we had was amazing! In my opinion, the scallops were the best and the tteokboki actually was my least favorite. But everything was really flavorful, the desserts and cocktail was nice and unique, the presentation was really well done and they were on their A-game with the seafood! Overall, I really enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend!
Really amazing tasting menu! For the price and course it was worth it. We went as a large group and everyone loved it. The favorites were the waygu, salmon tartare, and the dessert “hi-chew.” They also accommodate the menu for allergies.Dietary restrictions: Shellfish allergy

My husband, daughter, and I recently visited Jeong for a taste of their modern take on Korean cuisine, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience.Every dish we tried offered a creative spin on traditional Korean flavors, with a touch of innovation that kept us intrigued throughout the meal. From the beautifully presented plates to the delightful taste, each dish left a lasting impression.Standout dishes were the golden shrimp dish, which combined Korean gyojachae, scallop, and wagyu, which honored tradition and offered a unique twist.Unexpectedly, the pre-dessert, ggaetyip sorbet, stole the show with its amazing taste and texture. It was a pleasant surprise that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.My husband did the wine pairing, which he said it elevated the entire course so well that he would recommend it to anyone who enjoys wine.Overall, Jeong reminded us of Oijimi in NYC, with its commitment to modernizing Korean cuisine while still staying true to its roots. If you're looking for a refreshing dining experience that offers a new perspective on Korean food, we highly recommend giving Jeong a try.

I thought overall it was good. Service and atmosphere is on point but the food/menu could be better. 4/6 courses were amazing however the “chicken” and shrimp need some work. Idk what it is but they just don’t hit. However, the price point is not too bad so I would definitely come again.

It's better than ever. Service. Food. The tasting is a bargain in the city. Wines special. Love the candles too. But at our table we could hardly see the food. A little more light. Maybe. Couldn't take my insta photo of the beautiful plating. Run don't walk.

The food at Jeong is simply excellent. Traditional Korean ingredients and flavors presented in modern dishes. Each plate is a work of art with a range of flavors, aromas, and textures. The specialty cocktails are unique and delicious, developed by the chef himself. The wine list is not huge, but well done. The service is great—a friendly staff that sets a nice pace. The overall ambience and background music are very nice, but I have one complaint: as the sun goes down, the restaurant becomes too dark to see the beautifully plated food. This is an all-too-common problem in high-end restaurants. A huge amount of effort goes into developing and plating each dish beautifully, then they come out in the dark and you can't see them. If they were serving burgers and fries, who cares, but, as the old saying goes, you eat first with your eyes, and the darkness here denies you that first visual bite. We won't let that keep us away from this overall wonderful place (maybe in the summer when daylight goes late), but we will hope that it gets corrected one day.

I've walked past this place for ages and never knew it was there. The space is lovely inside with just a handful of tables, low lighting, and beautiful flower arrangements. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Favorites were the salmon tartare and scallop! Would (and already have) absolutely recommend.

I had not been back to Jeong in some time so was looking very much forward to this return visit. It surpassed my expectations - the ambiance, service, and food and drink were superb. We appreciated the substitutions made to two dishes for my partner who has a fin fish allergy. They were thoughtful and so tasty. Everything we had that night was exceptional - and the wine pairing truly excellent. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Just another perfect dining experience. Been there a dozen times or so, and still always look forward to the next time. The service. The ambiance. The on-point wine pairing. And that scallop...
Wonderful fine dining experience that was also comfortable and down to earth. Everything was meticulously prepared and service was excellent as well—just the right amount of attention. I loved the take on Korean food and especially enjoyed the play on textures with the arare, barley, etc.

This is my tenth time dining at Jeong and it never disappoints! Chef Dave is such an outstanding chef, the food is always perfectly executed and consistent. Service is always phenomenal. 10/10 I don't dine out much anymore but when I do, I come to Jeong.

Portions were creative and worked well together, each course out did the last. We were constantly wow'd and the wine pairings were truly breathtaking . We appreciate the fantastic opportunity to have our anniversary here

I was searching for a place my wife and I could have a special dining experience on our “mini honeymoon” to Chicago. We were married on Feb 7th. There were no reservations available for the time we would be in town so I emailed the restaurant in hopes they might let us know of a cancellation and keep us in mind. I had several back and forth emails with Jennifer Tran and she let us know of a cancelation on the day we were flying in! She was extremely kind and helpful. She even went as far as to make us our own little special menu! The dinner was incredible, service, atmosphere, food, everything was top notch. Will be returning here if we ever come back through Chicago!
