Amazing! Nice place & super friendly staff?
I have ALWAYS loved this place. The people who served, the food ( the ONLY place I could actually afford to eat out at), the great coffee, it was very close to my apartment and on and on....because of the f@&king virus it has closed for good after 57 years. I will definately be mourning this place for A LONG TIME!!!!
Cash only. 24hr spot. Try the orange ice cream float.
Great food, great price & service. Highly recommend the biscuits & gravy and the peach cobbler. I wish I lived in Chicago!
Its been a few years an the food just taste better an there ham oh my juice love this spot on the north side of Chicago food on point thanks b back again
I went here on Sunday I ordered the French toast. My favorite for breakfast but I was a little upset that I got 4 slices of bread. But i made up for it and got another order I think they should give you a little bit more bread. Thanks jeri's
This place is a gem. Everything slows down when you enter. Feels like you stepped in a different century. You feel urged to put down your phone, pick up a newspaper, talk with other guests. All crazyness and traffic stress will disappear and you start to relax. Employees are very welcoming, kind. Donald's soups are fantastic. We definitely will return.
Omg the best restaurant i ever went to. The service is great and the workers and casual come ins are quite characters. I like the hamburgers, the rib eye steak, chicken noodle soup with the bread pudding and my favorite blueberry pie with ice cream on top with oreos crumbs.
Great little dive dinner the biscuits and gravy are awesome and the lady's that work the counter are funny. Just a gem in the city
I rarely leave reviews but this place was amazing. Me and my boyfriend had two steak dinners which came with potatoes, corn and soup. unlimited coffee and homemade blueberry pie and peach cobbler all for 30 bucks! And it was good! And I'm picky believe me. The two women who were working made us feel like we were family. I have yet to find a place where I felt like I would go to on a daily basis until now. It's nothing fancy but its everything you need and the food quality is way better than I expected. So inexpensive too. This is a place where memories are made.

They have the best bacon I've ever tasted! The grill man is a cool character and makes a hell of a good breakfast! The wait staff is great! I got my own personal favorite... I also love the vibe. I always sit at the counter as that's where all the stories are told. Hard to find a restaurant like Jerry's unless your a trucker going down a dirt road....
No nonsense no frills kind of place, friendly staff and service. And the FRIES. Some of the best I’ve found and I eat a lot. Fresh, hot, crisp, not brown and soggy and limp like it seems every other place serves.
Great no frills joint. Try the ham and eggs or fried balony. Enjoy the atmosphere.
Great food, great prices.. you can’t go wrong!
My omelet was over cooked, it was the color of a pancake. They didn't ask my friend about the biscuts and gravy that she had not touched. We didn't complain while we were there because we just wanted to leave. The atmosphere was off putting.
