Jerk 48 is OVER HYPED. I went to this location because all the other ones were closed and let’s just start here. I ordered the 6 wing jerk dinner and the jerk salmon dinner for my wife. My wings were small and damn near dehydrated and for sure burnt. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but tasted like water and pepper, the sweet potatoes were bland and tasted like its straight from a can and had some sort of paper in the sweet potatoes like they dropped it in there and just stirred it in. The only good thing was the salmon. The cabbage was not seasoned at all and the jerk sauce was nothing but seasoned vinegar. The red beans and rice was definitely from a can you can taste the aluminum in the beans which was also dehydrated lol. Drove 30 minutes to this location 1st and last time going there. Staff was rude and talked on their cell phone to their friends or relatives while they took orders. Waited over 45 minutes for Food that was just disgusting. Don’t see how anyone eats at this location. $52 for trash food is ridiculous and over priced. I’m sorry but this place needs to be shut down.

Came from Detroit, waited about 1 and a half hour for food in a very questionable neighborhood. Food was just ok definitely not worth the wait. would not return.

The wait was about 35 mins and all the food wasnt hot the pasta was great but the chicken was over cooked.The salmon was as well you can tell this place has potential but if you have to wait everything needs to be hot.But that jerk seasoning is delicious.

All the way from California to try jerk48, it was everything I expected the food was delicious. I had the jerk chicken Alfredo 😋😋 my wife had the chicken and shrimp alfredo😋😋, and my kids had salmon alfredo. We will definitely come back again when we come to visit Chicago
