The good Just walking up I liked what I saw The vibe was great (the music was jamming and nice bright colors to make you happy) The service was great And now for the food; all I can say is YES LAWD. I had the 3 way everything way cooked perfectly, well seasoned and flavorful. The bad is so small let’s get that out the way. The wait was a bit long and the site was a little hard to navigate.

I usually visit this spot but today wasn’t good. Wait time usually 45 min to hr for good service & food it’s ok, but to receive cold red beans & rice and cabbage is not ACCEPTABLE! And on TOP of all that no J*** sauce. Why wasn’t I aware of it. It’s called decency let customer know before handing customers there orders money hungry …. So??

I tried the location on 95th st and it was horrible. I bought 2 white dinners and the red beans and rice and chicken was so dry we couldn't even eat it the worst ever I wasted my $40.11 would not recommend

I noticed places, especially Latino and Black owned restaurants. Love the tall the delivery driver confirm order and when you go to white establishments they don’t do that if you can chill ones education because they know how to read the apps and see how many successful deliveries I did for the restaurant stead of profiling

Called to make an order was told a Chicken plate is 22.00, 1/2 Alfredo is 20.00. looked online and These prices are nothing from what I was told ! Scam && The lady answered the phone was extremely rude ! I canceled the order ! I'm not About to pay 22.00 for nothing && Ive ate here before, wasn't the prices last time I ate here!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would this is my second time ordering from them and I’m highly disappointed both times. This is my steak taco the meat very very very very dry no sauce on it barely any cheese. Not to mention I called my order in to make sure it’s correct after I ordered off Uber eats and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I would not waste my money here again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Terrible. On google when I GPS the location it said opened at both locations. I drove to both locations in Chicago and neither were opened. Huge inconvenience!Suggestion: if you are going to be closed please update your business hours to reflect your current hours at that time.My friend ranted and raved about J*** 48 but after my own experience and reviewing other comments this business needs to work on marketing and customer service.

Ordered via Uber eats. Delivery timing was good. Ordered j*** (chicken/shrimp) salad and j*** chicken taco. Order was missing extra sour cream (<$1). Chicken on both salad and taco was dry, almost overcooked; but flavorful. Shrimp ..meh. Cucumbers we're old and going bad. I wouldn't recommend the salad; but I will say the restaurant is worth a try...at least once.
Delicious and the two ladies working were friendly and knowledgeable. The macaroni and cheese was fantastic and of course the j*** wings were amazing too!! They even have kola champagne yesssss

Been waiting to try their food for months. Customer service was decent, I ordered j*** chicken, Mac and cheese, cabbage, with red beans and rice. Sides were good, but chicken and rice was very dry. I would probably try again, but earlier in the day. They were out of a lot of things, including what I really wanted.

I ordered the j*** chicken Alfredo and the j*** 3 ways. The pasta was flavorful but was dry and overcooked, the j*** chicken was literally burnt, the shrimp and lamb was very good but way too spicy! This is the first time having j*** at a restaurant where the meat is spicy before you put any sauce on it. Its almost too spicy for me to eat which is unfortunate because it tastes really good. Now the sides on the other hand, not good. I won't be ordering again
