Very disappointed in my order. The rice and beans had too much gravy on top. The jerk chicken tasted very much like baked chicken with jerk/bbq sauce. It's so hard to find jerk restaurants that actually smoke/grill the chicken.

Food wise... Outstanding. Absolutely delicious. I think it might be laced with illegal substances or something. Also, the proportions are very generous.
Aside from that, definitely a take out kind of place. Inside was not too clean, and it was only high chairs. No frills. Took longer than I expected but definitely worth the wait. I will definitely return. Yams were a little too sweet.

We were pleasantly surprised by our meal! The jerk chicken was flavorful and all the sides were fantastic. In particular, the plantains and yams were among the best we’ve had in the city. The jerk sauce is thin and vinegary; it’s good but different. Portion sizes were solid; we had a lot of leftovers

This was a horrible experience I ordered a whole jerk chicken and got three thighs 4 legs and 3 wings no breasts. The chicken was baked with jerk sauce on top very hot with no taste. The cabbage was cooked with I guess turkey but was greasy and it's such a small container it didn't matter the peas and rice tasted burnt. I called the restaurant back to inquire as to why they advertise a whole chicken but just give chicken parts they put me on hold never returned to the call. I called back and the reply was the voice mail was full. Biggest rip off all I can say is don't waste your money.

The restaurant smelled really good right as you entered. My mouth was watering right away. Their oxtails were really good, as it was so tender and the jerk sauce/gravy made it even better. The large portuions were a major plus. It seems to be very popular, as I got the last pieces of oxtails with some yams and greens, which I recommend. I would have rated 5 star if they had macaroni and cheese, but that was not available at 3:45pm when we arrived. Customer service was great and I will definitely be returning.

The jerk chicken was falling off the bone but it was more like stewed chicken. And it was kind of lacking flavor. I was expecting something crispy with a glaze like it looked in the picture. The yams were good. The mac and cheese was not so tasty. It was dry and stale! No flavor! The greens weren’t so bad. But the rice and peas disappointed me. It was dry and again no flavor. It tasted like they saved some of the sides from the previous day. Not very fresh tasting. For almost 20 dollars the meal should come with cornbread and a drink at least!
I brought my interns in unannounced, totaling to 15 people and the staff at this restaurant had nothing but patience. We all absolutely loved the food and the attention to our orders!

We were in Chicago from Central Michigan this past weekend for my best friend's birthday and this was our final stop before going home. Let me tell y'all, I have never tasted food so good in my entire life. Customer service was outstanding, so kind and loving. God truly blessed this place and the two individuals working during our visit. So talented and if we ever come back we're 100000% coming multiple times.
